Best Sourdough pizza I've ever had! It is the only pizza I've been able to eat without any gluten sensitivity issues. Great vibe for dine in. Mike and his wife are great and we're very accommodating. The pizza is so good, I purchased 3 pizzas just to take home and freeze. Highly recommend!

Heard lots of rave reviews from friends and it took me a while to get over there and take a pie to go. I am bummed I waited because it was simply fire. What a beautiful pizza. Loved the way the fire gave a slight char to the crust while still being soft and moist inside. Topping ratio was on point and the overall flavor will be hard to beat. 10 outta 10 on the pizza I had last night and I will be a frequent flyer moving forward. Affordable, convenient, and delicious always bring me back!

I've been to nearly every pizza place in SLO over the last 30 years and my friend mikes is exceptional. I like Bear and Wren, I like Pizza Republic, the Nuccis Hawaiian has a place in my heart, Palo Mesa makes a good pie, and Flour House's wood fired pizzas are great. They're all good pizzas, but My friend mikes is separate from all of those because of its style, and from what I'm told by people who know better it's a very New York style compared to what's usually out here. Their pizza is a thin crunchy crust with a little chew and a very toasty bottom. Great cheese to sauce ratio as well. Judging by the quality and cook of the pizza the other more topping laden ones will hold up just as well. Some other places in town mentioned above even do a style similar to mikes, but they don't do it as good, and they don't do it for $25 for a 16". We had a simple pepperoni pie, only one sized is served, and we obliterated every tasty morsel. Go out of your way to try my friend mikes, I drove by it for way too long before finally getting to enjoy it and I won't be missing out again.

I keep coming back for the taste of the crust, the sauce, the farmers market fresh ingredients on the Loaded Vegan pizza. They don't have vegan cheese, and I don't miss it. The veggies this time included shaved fennel, fresh basil, zucchini, green olives, and red onions.

The best local takeout Pizza spot that money could buy. My wife and I have been absolutely hooked by Mike & his team's hand made pies ever since we moved to SLO county last March.
The pies are always ready at our designated time slots, we're always greeted with a warm welcome/smile from the team, and we bring home a delicious pizza with SLO county locall sourced ingredients 100% of the time. Our favorite has been the Pep/Sausage combo with a special request for extra red sauce. Seriously the best pizza in SLO especially at it's price point compared to having to go downtown + pay for parking/tip to be dined on.
This small mom and pop operation has a cult like following from other pizza lovers in the area and we could see why from the very jump. Amazing operation and great people behind it. Hope to be eating these pies for years to come!

They were so nice on the phone when we ordered the pizza. The pizza was great and we are picky about food. I got the mushroom pizza and my husband and son got a pepperoni pizza with jalapeño’s and my son added burrata cheese. Both were delicious!
