This place was SO good!! OMG what a lil gem. We stopped in here and didn't expect it to be as tasty as it was. The portions are also HUGE. We couldn't even finish our meals. Definitely coming back the next time we're craving Hawaiian. They have free parking in the back behind the restaurant.

Every time I've gone they always give you a good portion of nobu chicken. Definitely worth it!

The place is clean but it’s a far cry from good Hawaiian food. The kalua is over cooked and mushed to h***, on top of day old, dry, mushy rice. The Mac salad might as well be candy it’s so sweet and using cavatappi instead of short Mac is just a waste, maybe if it tasted good it’d be worth it. To top it all off they threw in coleslaw with sesame seeds on top of it, as if that would help get it away from tasting like KFC. Plus they said they were out of any kind of soy sauce. Overall terrible, and i feel bad for San Luis Obispo for having this restaurant rated as 4 stars.

This place is so good. Huge portions and fresh food. The Mac salad and coleslaw sides are top notch, and the crab rangoons are always a hit. Great Hawaiian bbq spot.

Just found out about this place although bits been around for some time. I ordered the tofu plate. Being a very strict vegetarian I was concerned the tofu would be fried with the fryer with the rest of the meat and like most places sadly it is. They made an exception for me and cooked it separately on the grill in a pan away from the meat. The portions were huge! Enough for 2 meals. Unfortunately I could not have the Mac salad as it contains tuna as they do in Hawaii. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. ALOHA!

I ate the Nobu chicken. It was very delicious. I loved it because it was a little spicy . They also give u a lot of food and not expensive. Service , people were very friendly . Ambiance , you do go up to counter and order. There is parking around back so u don't have to try and find one on the street.

Nice people and atmosphere. Good macaroni salad and claw. Big problem with the shrimp though as they are still in shell. You don't get any flavor after you peel it off.

This place was consistently busy while we were eating. There's Hawaiian music overhead with a blend of Mexican music coming from the kitchen. The food was good. You could tell they used liquid smoked to mimic the kalua porks ground smoking and it tastes pretty close. My Hawaii born raised boyfriend said he wishes the katsu sauce was more authentic rather than Japanese style. We will definitely come back and try more things from their menu. Portions are definitely shareable

I ordered the nobu chicken, spam matsubi, and sea weed salad online and took it home to eat. The shop it’s self was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and welcomed me. I will start with the spam mastubi. It was alright. Normally I get enjoy this dish but this one did not stand out to me much. It felt bland and I didn’t taste much of the spam. It was a big size though so that was nice. The seaweed salad was great. Big portion and a lot of flavor to it. I would definitely order this again. The nobu chicken was definitely delicious! This dish tells you it is spicy and I love spicy. What I love about this dish is how it’s not overwhelmingly spicy but slowly builds overtime allowing you to taste the flavor and still get heat. The chicken in general tasted amazing and I would highly recommend this dish specifically. Overall, the price is great for the portion size. Would definitely recommend trying this place for the nobu chicken alone. This is what earned the 5 starts.
