I am in love with Oak & Otter! We've been coming here since 2020 and love it every single time. Not only are the beverages (beer/cider/seltzers) great, the staff/other patrons are equally as fantastic! Everyone is super friendly and you'll definitely leave with some new friends. Our go-to's are their unique seltzers and delicious pretzels. They're located in a more industrial area but they are a MUST in my book. Love ya, O & O!

OMG - so happy to have just discovered this on a recent trip to SLO. This will be our go to brewery when we come up in the area. Not only is the beer phenomenal but also the food and the service. I discovered some of my favorite types of beer that no one in Southern California is brewing English ESB, Bock and English brown. He nailed all of these. And the hoppy otter ipa is outstanding. my husband and I took lots of crawlers home and looking forward to enjoying them. There was a really nice menu that featured several items I can eat, and being vegan, that’s not always the case. Best salsa we’ve ever had.

happy to give this brewery five stars. Outstanding beer, service, and food. It's unusual to find such tantalizing food at a brewery and everything was fabulous. as a fan of British beers I was blown away by their ESB, bock and English nut brown. also there're happy otter IPA is phenomenal along with their kolsch. Everything we tried actually was incredible. It was nice meeting the Brewer and chatting with him. It was a wonderful afternoon sitting outside and enjoying such fabulous beers. we'll be back.

terrible, doesn't treat their customers right or with respect. some of the worst service I've had before. They are rude and disrespectful. the owner talked with my friend and threatened her and got very personal unnecessarily. Overall not a great place and I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know. I hope they don't treat all their customers the same way I and my friend expierenced it. They should really reconsider how they treat people not to mention their customers.

The owner is extremely unprofessional. He is extremely inconsiderate of his guests. You could attend any other brewery/winery in the county of San Luis Obispo and have a better time.

Unfortunately the owner here is extremely unprofessional. If I could leave 0 stars I would. He was drunk at the "beer festival" in SLO and was extremely disrespectful to patrons. The people he had working for him at his table were very nice however as a whole, the organization is clearly run by someone who is incompetent and has no service experience.

Great beers and some juicy chicken tacos. Plenty of seating inside and out. Happy hour from 2-5 M-F which is a big plus.
