Ordering online on Old Slo BBQ's app is very easy and quick. They also offer various sauces to choose from for your sandwich. Also, the app lets you select the time frame within 15 mins (i.e. pick up times 7P-7:15P, 7:30P-7:45P, etc.). Thank you so much to everyone at Old Slo BBQ!

Food is always fantastic and service is good.Parking: Shopping center parking lot so finding parking is not an issue though you may have to park a little far away if the center is busy.

I ordered ahead through Yelp, and then realized that there are TWO of these locations! The gentleman at the cashier helped me figure that out when I went in to pick up my order, don't make the same mistake I did! I ordered the tri tip plate with sweet potato fries and I got a side of the apple coleslaw, and the pumpkin pie shake. My husband got the tri tip sandwich with sweet potato fries and a strawberry shake.The food took quite a while to come out, but the tri tip was tender and delicious, and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp on the outside. They were so tasty.The apple coleslaw was pretty plain. I love the addition of apple, but could use a little less mayo and more salt/seasoning, maybe a squeeze of lemon, BUT THOSE MILKSHAKES. So freaking good. The barbecue sauce was okay- I wish they would add garlic and maybe some chili and tamari to it for some more flavor. Nevertheless, I would come back again if I was in the area. Highly recommend ordering one of their hand-scooped shakes, so good. Both the pumpkin pie flavor and the strawberry flavor were great
While on vacation in SLO the first meal had to br Tri-Tip. We chose Old SLO BBQ and were glad we did. The tri-tip was moist and delicious. The salad and garlic bread was fresh. Placed my order using their website. It was so easy. The order was ready when I got there. The staff was great.

The tri tip with candied bacon slider was very good. As was the tri tip sandwich. They have very good BBQ sauce. The pulled pork was kind of bland. The beer wall is a cool touch & the restaurant itself is nice and clean.
