Low quality food at extremely high prices, Cal poly administration is ripping kids off.

Unless you come here early in the am, or late after 10 PM. There's gonna be a good chance that it's full of people here. So accept it, and go beast in here!

Had high hopes that this sandwich place was better than Subway down the hill. About the only positive thing I can say is that they seem to use real mayo instead of lite!! Oh, and the folks that work there were pleasant. First star taken away is for their lack of signage about there being multiple service lines. Everyone was lined up in the first line. I noticed someone come in after me and go to the second line. I thought he cut the line, but later I heard someone announce that there are 2 lines!! The service was so slow that I think I spent 10-15 minutes in line. Second start taken away is for the awful order slip. Usually if there is an order slip involved it means that you check off what type of bread you want, the meat, the toppings, the condiments, etc. This one only included their ready-made named sandwiches and one option for Build Your Own. Oh, and I checked that I wanted Lettuce. The rest of the order involved speaking to the sandwich maker telling them what you wanted. What a waste of paper. Take a lesson from High St. Deli and others on how to design the slip if you insist on using one!! Third star taken away is for general disappointment!! My sandwich, once it was made, was folded into a piece of paper with nothing holding it together, and it wasn't even cut first. The gal at the register told me to take one of the folded food holders so it wouldn't fall apart in my bag. There were only 2 flavors of chips available (of course none I wanted) and there were only about 5 bags in the bin. The shakers had holes too small for the salt and pepper to get through. The wheat bread crust was so tough I had to tear it off as I was trying to eat my sandwich. The register gal didn't offer me my receipt (I know, most people don't want it, but I keep track of my budget. No large soda fountain cup, I had to purchase a 20 oz bottle that wasn't cold. I hope they can fix some of these issues so they can get some better reviews.

Watch out, the menu might deceive you. The photos accuracy is a tad questionable. Just ask friend who was very surprised to find out that the chicken displayed in the photos was actually some cleverly disguised mozzarella. Cheeky! Sandwich wasn't bad though.
$5 to buy a towel, which you can return at the end of your workout for a clean one or a towel card. Either way you won't have to bring a smelly towel home to wash!

Return your towels. Seriously.
