The absolutely BEST quality and tasting sourdough bread distributed in California.

Love the bread and it's my go to for all meals. Over the past couple of years I've enjoyed the Garlic Sourdough, but am confused as to why the packaging looks almost exactly like the Jalapeño. Unfortunately, across different grocery stores that have shelved the Jalapeño and Garlic next to each other, I've mistakenly purchased the wrong loaf. Any way this can be corrected?

I've been buying this product forever and was lucky enough to find a Costco near me carrying 2 packs. However a few months ago, I had a similar issue to others here--it went moldy. Generally I freeze a loaf while consuming the other but when the first one molded one me, I pulled out the other and it molded way too fast as well.

I've never had this issue before. I've literally left loaves out on the counter for 2-3 weeks as we eat thru it, with no sight of mold.

I reached out to CS about this thru FB and they wanted me to post pics of the bag tags, although I only had one. Then they wanted me to give them my email address and my phone number. I refused and they stopped following up on the issue.

I finally bought another two pack but am keeping the loaf I'm eating in the fridge in an attempt to avoid the mold. Fingers crossed.

This is 4 out of 5 star bread. I think it’s hilarious that people complain that it goes moldy quick.. That’s what non-gmo, preservative free bread does.. It doesn’t have a long shelf life. Now, if they will start using non-enriched flour, they would have 5 stars from me. Also… fyi… the reason there are inclusions in the bread (holes) is because it’s a growing bread, full of live active cultures. Air bubbles happen. It angers me that this bread is being reviewed by some numpties.

I buy this bread at the store by far hands down the best bread yet I'm in love and I know the work that goes into making sourdough as I make my own to wishing mine could be as good as there's

Been buying their sourdough at Costco for years. Twice in two months one of the two loaves in the two pack has gone totally moldy while unopened in less than a week. Needless to say, no more of their bread for us. Looked for a contact email for customer service but couldn't find one. My guess is you are losing a lot of customers.

What happened to the sliced loaves of crushed wheat sandwich bread. My favorite for years has not been on the shelves at the grocery store for how many months? 4-6 months? Ojai/Ventura

Love your bread and I know you have no control over it but there was a big hole running almost the whole length of the loaf, so it was like you got half a piece of bread per slice

Why is there black spots on the bottom of the bread? Why do you guys pick bread from the floor and still bag it. When the inspectors come to visit they clean up the warehouse 2 day before they show up. This people don't follow osha rules.

Always loved this truly sourdough bread but today I bought a loaf which had the Sourdough label BUT WAS JUST PLAIN WHITE BREAD! Was it mislabeled or did it not ferment long enough to create the sourdough taste? Quality control? Very sloppy baking. Ah, now i know the cause: Bimbo now owns San Luis Sourdough! They ruined La Brea Breads and now they’re cutting corners on San Luis. Too Bad. Will have to find another bakery.
