SeaBreeze Cupcakes & Sweet Treats

I ordered a custom cake for my sister's birthday. The cake was gorgeous! Our expectations in the artistry department were met, even exceeded. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed when it came to flavor. The cake was very dense and tasted blah. It didn't even taste vanilla; just bland. The buttercream tasted good, but there was way too much of it. The raspberry filling was delicious, the best part of the cake flavor-wise, but there was too little of it to balance the sweetness of the buttercream.

Overall, I'd say if you want a lovely cake for any event, this bakery will probably meet your needs very well. If great flavor is your priority, you might want to try their cupcakes first, before you decide. I ordered the cake in August without ever trying their baked goods, because I live outside of California. I relied on posted reviews, and was disappointed that the cake did not come together in the flavor department.

SeaBreeze made, delivered, and set up the dessert for our wedding. It was a beautiful display and people really enjoyed the taste. We went with mini cupcakes, which was the perfect way to allow guests to try several flavors. They are professional, easy to work with, and affordable. I would highly recommend them for a future event.

I love cupcakes. When in big cities on business I Google for cupcake shops and wander around in search of delicious surprises. After I had my 1st cupcake from SeaBreeze I felt like SLO had won the lottery. These cupcakes aren’t just tasty, they are buy a dozen and take them to work tasty. I literally buy cupcakes and give them away to watch people take their first bite. ?? My favorites are red velvet, brown butter sugar, chocolate chip cookie dough, & cookies and cream. But I haven’t found a single one I don’t finish in four bites. They have coffee coming soon. I’ll be both happy & sad. Happy that they’ll get more foot traffic, but sad I’ll have to get by much sooner before they sell out. SeaBreeze is the real deal — beat the rush and go get some cupcakes now so you can say you were OG at the Broad shop before they even served coffee. :-)

We cannot recommend Seabreeze enough!! They did our wedding cake, wedding desserts and the cake for our rehearsal dinner. They were extremely easy to work with and everyone loved the dessert. My husband and I did not even get to taste all our desserts because people ate them up so fast! The flavor was really impressive. We rented display plates from seabreeze as well and it looked very nice.

SeaBreeze made, delivered and installed the dessert bar for our wedding. We received so many compliments from our guests of how delicious all of the desserts were! We were happy that they were all enjoyed that day and none were left over, a true testament to how tasty everything that they make is! I shared the inspiration photo for the cutting cake and it came out even better than my expectation. If you are planning a wedding or event I highly endorse trusting them with your dessert!

I had received a gift card to SeaBreeze over the holidays and decided to redeem it for my niece’s birthday. I was able to look at all their flavor options online and was not disappointed when I walked in. There were so many options of cupcakes, all so artfully decorated. I picked out 8 cupcakes, day of the party, and the staff even added an extra one free of charge! My favorite was the cookie dough cupcake- the cake and frosting had a great balance and wasn’t overly sweet. I highly recommend SeaBreeze for all your bakery needs!
