This place was fantastic. We stopped in SLO on our road trip to Monterey Bay. The food and service were excellent. I'm stilling thinking about the sandwich I had. My family and I all swapped half of the sandwiches we ordered and couldn't decide which we liked the most. My son also had the kale salad which was wonderful too. We loved the outdoor patio because we were traveling with our dog. If I'm ever in SLO again we will definitely be returning.

Had a TBL that had old overcooked bacon. Husband had the chicken sandwich and it was greasy and dark. Homemade chips were also cooked in old oil. It could have been really good if properly prepared. Staff was friendly and restaurant was neat and clean.

Meh... Warning ‼ Do not go 15 minutes prior to closing. No matter how they say, "no problem, we'll just clean around you." Then they turn the lights out AS you're eating in their dining room. How to read this? As passive aggressive and definitely rude and disrespectful to diners who spent over $50 plus gratuity, to be the recipients of this not-so-nice behavior... Don't even order to go as the quality will be less than and anything hot, will not be as advertised ;) I was so looking forward to this eating experience and was so incredibly let down. We ordered: PÂTÉ DE CAMPAGNE TERRINE ... 14 country pâté served with stone-ground mustard, house pickled veggies + toasted sourdough (bread arrived late ) waaay after terrine got to the table SHREDDED BRUSSELS SPROUTS ... 9/15 shredded raw brussels sprouts, dried cranberries, citrus segments, candied pecans, preserved lemon vinaigrette (gf) - nice sized portion and missing the citrus segments and they skimped on the candied pecans and dressing BUTTERNUT SQUASH ...5/8 roasted butternut squash soup topped with spiced candied pumpkin seeds, and sage oil (gf) arrived ice cold and plain. We sent it back and asked for all the toppings. It returned, a bit better. FRENCHI... 10- ham, brie, apple, honey, and butter it was a nice European style rustic Sammie and hit the spot although the bread was a bit tough and it came with vinegar kettle chips You know it was not impressive as we didn't bother to take any photos. Beware of closing time 1830!

We enjoyed a special pop up dinner at SLO Pro for Valentine's Day. The new chef presented a wonderful meal with a great choice of main courses, a delicious salmon or steak, I'm sure there was a vegetarian option. Both came out with sauces and sides that tasted great. The meal was leisurely paced so that you didn't feel rushed or had too much time between courses. The staff was attentive and helpful. I suggested that this could be a wonderful monthly event where friends could gather for a casual but exceptional meal. Would do it again for certain. And, am looking forward to the new menu choices from the chef and staff.

I used to love the chicken fried sandwich but no anymore since the consistency of the food changed. I see the difference when you order inside and to go. Food eating in is so different regarding portions versus take out has a huge difference. So disappoint of this place.

Always delicious. Semi sit down like Panera but way better quality on food. They bring the food to your table.

If you haven't been to this SLO staple in a while, it's absolutely time to go back! Had such a fantastic lunch with elevated sandwiches, great light options and a wonderful local wine list. Was even tempted to bring home dinner!

I was in town for work and saw the open atmosphere and decided to go in. The food was amazing and it was a great way to start my day. I am going back today because I know the quality of what I am getting.

My company orders lunches from here all the time. My favorite is the Frenchi. It's small but really good. I love the combo of the brie and sliced apples. The cookie is probably the best around. I love the added touch of sea salt. The chips have a citrus taste to them. Everything combined makes for a great lunch.

I've had a number of sandwiches from there - always very good. However on Friday (after 2 pm) and Saturday (after 12pm) they have a fried chicken dinner. Get that.
