Slowest Starbucks in town due to it being understaffed. No seating indoors. The layout is terrible. People waiting for their orders have no choice but to stand in the way of people entering.

I recently visited this Starbucks location and observed that the staff seemed to prioritize online orders over in-store customers. Upon entering, I did not receive a greeting, and the focus appeared to be on fulfilling pickup orders solely. After I placed my order for a nitro cold brew, I waited for 15 minutes, with about 10 of those minutes spent waiting alone in the store. Given the extended delay, I requested a refund.
I believe this location could benefit from improving customer engagement and order fulfillment for in-store guests. A more balanced approach to managing both online and in-person orders could enhance the overall customer experience.

The new location is awful. It has zero seating and hostile architecture to keep customers flowing. The cash register placement makes no sense, there's no room for a line because the pickup bar takes up literally the entire store. The starbucks by barnes & noble was great, petes was great when it was here. This is a mobile order stand.

While visiting San Luis Obispo it was a Sunny day, just stopped by to grab some drinks. Was great customer service. It’s located inside the building near a small alley or between two buildings.

Ian helped us with our order and was very knowledgeable, he suggested I try cinnamon in my drink when I told him to surprise me. It was really good! He was friendly and just made the whole thing much more pleasant. I wanted to toot his horn cuz you don't run into very good customer service these days but this guy is out here making the world a better place, one transaction at a time!
