This is what a real burrito looks like and it was only $15. Chicho's is ridiculously expensive with subpar products

Outstanding tacos but the prices are outrageous. I especially liked the flavor of the pollo asado. They have a nice, clean little salsa bar, and some pretty tasty salsas...I wasn't fond of the escabeche. Counter service means almost none, which is better than usual. The dining room is clean and colorfully decorated.

If you live in SLO county or just visiting, you really should come eat here. The food is really fresh and tasty without being heavy. You can eat inside or outside. The outside seating is beautiful. Anf it's in a quiet little outlet so it doesn't feel too crazy or noisy.

Surprisingly good Mexican food for SLO. They do something special to the tortillas on their crispy tacos that really sets them apart.

Really nice little place with great food and a salsa bar to choose from with varying spice levels.
Was in town for a week and had lunch at the place almost every day, the owner is a really nice guy
Taco Tuesday starts at 3pm and fish tacos are included! Very delicious and great service.
Very colorful and nice atmosphere, the chips and salsa station was really clean (and they were good too!), the bathroom was cleaned, and most importantly the food was really good, also really good combinations and menu. We ordered an asada soft taco and a burrito.
Bonus: they have outdoor seats and that area is doggy friendly 🐶.
The restaurant was clean and the service was attentive. However, the food was disappointing. I had the chile relleno burrito, and the chile relleno inside the burrito did not taste fresh. It tasted like an old, somewhat soggy chile relleno that was reheated and put inside a relatively small and flavorless burrito.
Pricier than other places but the food is better too. Worth it imo. Friendly staff

Although the waiter was very friendly and tried to explain the dishes to us. The food was disgusting and tasteless. Expensive for what's on the plate.

The enchilada was loaded with chicken. Also other nice ingredients that really brought out the flavor. The owner, I presume, was super friendly to me. GF also had a taco salad that I tasted that was super.

Had crispy chicken tacos, the shells were pre-made, the chicken was dry and flavorless. I was very disappointed ?
