Just visited San Luis Obispo and my hotel suggested the Thai Classic restaurant on Higuera Street. The food was excellent including the Thai Salad with an amazing dressing.

Dine in experience was horrible. We ordered two soups, a pad Kee mao, and two pad see ew. They completely forgot about our entrees and when we asked where it was three times they had the audacity to laugh it off and say "haha sorry I don't know". Saw two tables that came after us get their food served. Asked to cancel the dishes after asking where it was a fourth time and waiting 40 minutes. Receipt came with an 18% gratuity fee. Disputed this. Definitely did not deserve any percent honestly for the horrible service. How can we give gratuity if we didn't even get to eat. Honestly can only review the Tom yum which lacked flavor. No spice or sourness 1/5 Other half of our table had a separate check, and they said their food was horrible too. 5 slices of beef in their oyster sauce stir fry and pad see ew was weirdly sour with a bitter after taste. Only decent thing was the fried shrimp.

Excellent customer service; good vibe; delicious food. Would love to go back again and try other dishes. Outdoor dining creekside -- very lovely!

We stopped by on our way to pismo beach and loved that they had a vegetarian menu! We got the tom yum soup with no fish sauce, broccoli stir fry, tofu satay and veggie friend rice. The food was great and fresh. The only odd thing was that they brought all our food out on paper plates... including the dishes we were provided to eat from. The only exception was the soup serving pot. The inside of the restaurant isn't the best but it was definitely great food.

Super cute place! It's locally owned and the staff is super sweet. The food is really good and the portions are hefty. My boyfriend and I got a spicy tom yum hot pot and pad Thai with chicken. We were able to make the pad Thai spicy! We got medium spice, but it wasn't very spicy so feel free to go up a notch or two. Rice is extra, but they also give you a mountain of rice. The servers kept checking up on us and it really gave us a homey feel. You can tell this place is very authentic and makes you want to keep coming back. I'll for sure stop by again when I'm back in SLO!
one of the BEST Thai places on the west coast. we used to live here about 10 yrs ago and we absolutely loved it, so much that they hosted our civil union! this was our first official date back in 2009 and we are still coming in whenever we are in the area. their PAD SEE EW is 100% the best one we have found (and we have scouted for some in soCAL and found good ones but nothing like this. Mango Sticky rice is also a favorite! Their Thai Salad and ALL of the CURRY . Service is always on point and there is indoor and outdoor seating available.

Really good Thai food in a deceptively plain restaurant. Be patient: when we were there, there was only one person staffing the dining room, but he was gracious and attentive, if overworked. The food was definitely worth any wait!

BAD SHRIMP. Trice in a row in Pineapple , curry, shrimp. Always great at other Thia restaurants that serve it. This shrimp disintegrates and tastes like dirt.I hope they read and fix it but Im not eating from there again.

Good food but ambiance and cutlery could be better. Paper plate dinner was not so cool
owner was very rude for no reason
