Finally, a Thai restaurant with real Thai food, I had almost lost all hope for Central Cali/San Luis Obispo until I came into Thai Delight. Their food was delicious and hit the spot!Parking: Street parking was luckily available

Solid Thai and a nice outside seating area. Service was a little slow and the quality felt very middle of the road but we enjoyed our food enough to return.

It was crowded and noisy. The only available seating was outdoors on a chilly, rainy evening. The overhead heaters were nice.

The food was tasty! The pad Thai was oversauced. The Penang curry should include more rice. The green papaya salad has a lot of cabbage filler. The medium spice level was good. The service is lacking a bit and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is plain.

We have tried all the Thai restaurants in the 5 Cities. Now we're out to try the many in SLO. We came in at noon and by 1 pm the place was packed. Service was good, quick delivery for food. The restaurant could use some elevation for the area. Things look a bit run down. This place has 4+ stars so we were looking forward to lunch here. They have a nice lunch special. The entree, rice, soup and salad for $11.99. It's the perfect portion for a lunch and of course I finished the plate. I enjoyed the soup but it was a bit too sweet for soup in my opinion. I frequently order Pad See Ew. Although the flavors were good, overall the dish was burnt or charred and the chicken a bit dry. This really knocked off a star for me. My husband ordered Pad Thai (not the lunch special) and he ate his entire dish. It was a good portion for the price. Overall this place didn't blow me away. Not so bad for a 3 star rating but not quite 4 stars. I'd say 3.5. On to the next spot....

believe me when i say i’ve been a Thai Delight fan for a few years now, but tonight just totally knocked it out of the park. i sent my girlfriend to bring me vegetable curry during my lunch break due to a sudden craving. even though this meant placing the order 30 minutes before close (apologies to the kitchen!) my girlfriend remarked how kind and attentive the staff were upon her arrival. everyone made sure she was helped and kindly and quickly. anyway, when i finally got to clock out, the food was still hot and so delicious. it was everything i could have wanted and just really hit the spot. thanks for everything thai delight

Great all-around Thai option in SLO. Each of the entree options like pad Thai or yellow curry are $15 which is about average although maybe on the higher side, and while nothing special were filling and satisfying, as expected. We asked about non-dairy options for the Thai tea and they have coconut and almond options, though the original and coconut drinks we tried were bland in comparison to many others we’ve tried.Great service and we can tell the staff was hustling and doing a great job

Got seated quickly on a Saturday night while waiting for a table at another restaurant. We were already eating enjoying appetizers and being served our main entrees when the other restaurant finally had a spot available and texted us.We were quickly attended to and given the menu (which has plenty of options, but not an overwhelming amount) as well some ice water. The Thai Iced Tea was delicious and not too full of ice, which is commendable.Cheese Puffs were a tasty appetizer for anyone who likes fried food or cream cheese and were very quickly brought to our table.I like their level of hotness choices noted at the bottom of the menu. If something is too hot or spicy they will definitely hear you out and help fix any issue like that as well.Their noodles are delicious and chicken seems to always be cooked just enough to retain a solid balance of flavor and moisture.Checking in for refills on water would be the one tiny thing they could improve on, but during a busy Saturday its pretty easy to understand how this could get overlooked. This business makes me want to start making my own curry, even though I know it would be hard to compete with theirs!

Great little Thai restaurant with a good selection of options to choose from for vegetarians. The servers were exceptional.
