We loved it! You walk away feeling like you ate at home- meaning it’s not a gut bomb. Lots of fresh vegetables and hot eggs.. even the drinking water was delicious. Homemade salsa was so tasty! The staff were very warm and welcoming. Will be back on our next visit to SLO for sure!

Just by chance we found The Bridge Cafe while traveling through SLO.
What an incredible find. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
The coffee, I ordered a large Latte, was perfect. That's not always the case when you stop for coffee in a town you're unfamiliar with.
I also ordered a breakfast burrito of egg, cheese, avo, and potatoes. Trust me, you do not need to order a side dish. Very filling and more importantly, delicious.
My partner, ordered a veggie quiche. It was buttery and almost melted in her mouth. Yummmmy
Will we maintain this as our go to place in SLO? You can count on it.
Thank you Jason for chatting with us, maintaining a customer centric team, and exceeding our breakfast expectations.

The food is fantastic! Everything is fresh and made to order and is reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Best place for breakfast or lunch. Indoors or patio seating, you can't go wrong eating there.
Out of towners looking for a good breakfast stop stumbled on the 5.0 reviews for The Bridge. They did. It disappoint! Delicious breakfast served HOT along with fantastic coffee and a heartfelt “thanks for coming in” from our server. Would recommend bagel and egg , and the avocado toast. Both were excellent .

I got a slice of chocolate cake during my mid morning walk. I made it back home and immediately ate half. It was delicious. Being someone who was taught how to bake at an early age, I appreciate quality baked goods. However, the cake wasn't the only awesome part. This was my first time being at bridge Cafe. Found out they welcome well behaved pups so my Bowie got to go inside with me and we were greeted by Jason. He was extremely welcoming and I hope Bridge cafe continues to thrive. I'll be back especially if there is chocolate ganache cake again! Yum!

OMG, this place! Love the bright open, casual vibe with exposed professional bakery kitchen. It’s like walking into a friend’s studio home kitchen who happens to be an awesome professional baker. Got an Americano with their Cozy Bear special (honey, vanilla and cinnamon) and it was the PERFECT fall drink. I have tried all the 4+ star coffee shops in SLO and this one rises to the TOP for americano quality and flavor.
Display case had a bountiful display of freshly baked goods. Normally I have to avoid ordering anything due to my pe air and tree nut allergies. But I found out the baker does not use any nuts due to customer allergies (like me) so I was able to enjoy so many (too many) of the beautifully baked treats so I let loose and ordered everything my eyes have been craving, deprived after years of avoidance.
The pumpkin maple white chocolate scone is a fall MUST. Drizzled with light maple icing, dripping over a perfectly spiced pumpkiny scone interior that had a tender crumb that melted in my tongue.
Classic croissant was light and flaky on the outside and soft, airy and buttery on the inside, mmmmm.
I will be saving the chocolate chip cookie and cheesecake muffin for an afternoon treat. Both, I was told by locals are a MUST TRY. As is the cinnamon swirl french toast. That will be my next visit! They do have a savory menu for more traditional breakfast and lunch entrees, yet another reason to return :)
This is so rare, to find a local high-quality bakery that does not bake any items with nuts! To all my peanut and tree nut allergy people, break free, breathe easy and come and enjoy The Bridge Cafe!
