Tacos really did the place justice... house salsa and food presentation was on point and somewhat unexpected. Fries great too. Service and bartender was great. Despite seeming a bit divy the food makes up for it and it's pet friendly. Will be back.

this place hires the genuine worst people to possible exist. CJ is the worst employee i have ever met in my entire life. he denied me and my friend because of our sexual orientation and he would not let us talk to him or even look at him. i could not believe that a place like this would hire him. there are four people that witnessed his discrimination and we are filing legal action because of the extent of his disrespect and absolute indifference. CJ caused me to never want to step foot in The Mark again. not going back.

Terrible Experience! Black Male review: My girlfriend and I were invited to The Mark on Halloween night but couldn’t even make it inside due to extremely jerkish and hostile “security” . One of the security guards ASSAULTED my girlfriend and flailed around my ID at some point. Somewhere in there we were bounced for no reason other than your best guess. I am a professional, so I conducted myself like one through this.

The Mark place is honestly sketchy so if you’re not into that, go elsewhere. So, Never again should someone from your establishment treat a person of color, a woman or patron, for that matter with disregard, After this review.

P.s. Lower level management was alright when I had to -Follow Up- with the incident, on my own time. That’s all.

We took a trip from Fresno to Avila and decided to go out for a bite to eat. After reading the reviews, I saw they had a back patio, which was perfect since I had my two dogs with me. We decided to give this place a try, and I’m glad we did!

The service was absolutely the best out of all the places we visited. Everyone was incredibly welcoming— the bartender even asked if we wanted a dog bowl for our pups, which was a super sweet touch. Another staff member kindly gave my dogs some sliders, making us feel right at home.

It was a very warm and inviting place, especially for my first time in SLO. If I ever find myself back in town, I’ll definitely return!

THURSDAY’s is an ALL out club night, full of beautiful ladies; action packed, had me dancing like as if i was in some Salsa 🕺 friendly atmosphere!

Was horrible the so called security was putting there hands on everyone they don’t know how to handle situations and the employees give free drinks out and leave there area of work to dance and talk to females when they should be doing there job

Good fish tacos, but completely understaffed at lunch time. We set out back and no one came to help us. We had to go inside to place our order and get our drinks. Outside patio is nice, but they really need a wait person out there taking care of patrons
