FYI this place is Denny's! I ordered a sandwich combo and got NO condiments for my onion rings and no napkins! The food was also cold and just not good!
It’s just Dennys masquerading as something else for online delivery sales.
I was super excited to get my order and when it was received little to no cheese And it’s just a sad replacement for what in the picture
Awesome food
Great stop of location on route down 101 on our road trip. Very clean and Great food all really hot and quick service. Our server Kenneth was amazing Lots of great travel advice and very attentive. Amazing stop off and really enjoyed our food.
While on a recent vacation, my husband had eaten breakfast two days in a row at Denny's on Madonna Rd. in San Luis Obispo and had raved about the great service Angel gave him. However, on our way back home, we both stopped in for breakfast and my husband decided we should sit at the counter, which is unusually high for a Denny's. The stools are also very high. As I attempted to move my stool out to sit down, it topped over onto me causing me to loose my balance and fall straight back onto the hard, clay tile floor. My head whiplashed back crashing into the floor. The female manager with lots of arm tattoos, asked if she should call 911. I said no. With customers yelling not to move me she had my 76-year-old husband help me stand up and then sit down in a nearby booth. Angel, the waiter came by several times showing concern for my well being as several customers also who witnessed the incident, checked on me. The manager did nothing. When the bill came for my husband's $10 breakfast, the manager started to ring it up. My husband said, "I can't believe you are going to charge me after my wife was seriously injured." She seemed very confused. I did have to go to Urgent Care that day after developing a large bump on my head, a severe headache, stiff neck, and numerous bruises including a 7 inch bruise on my back. I had a CT scan, arm, back, and rib x-rays. Three days later I am still very bruised and my head is very tender and throbs. The manager definitely needs some training in showing compassion to Denny's customers, maybe she should take lessons from Angel.
Great convenient stop next to our motel which we had for dinner and brunch the following morning. Classic American diner feel which we were keen to try out and glad we managed to enjoy. Awesome breakfast in particular with a huge range of options. Good value too. Perfect stop on our coastal road trip.
Working around the corner last week, I decided to pop in for lunch. I only get 30 min so time is of the essence. I was greeted with a smile immediately, seated and drink order taken. Once my lunch order was taken it took literally 5 min to receive it-this is what I call top service. The place was remarkably clean, staff was super friendly and great, and to top if off, I was out of there within 20 min. I have a have had bad experiences at other Dennys, but this one changed my thought about it all together. I will defiantly be back when working in SLO again. Thanks Dennys team!
My first steak in USA and I am delighted. Very kind and helpful service. I definitely recommend this place during trip along western coast of California.
This remodeled diner is well staffed. Courteous people. Our food looked just like the menu. We are traveling so we love healthy options at value prices. Thanx Denny’s for doing Denny’s so well.
