A great spot to include during your wine tasting tour of the area. The staff was friendly, the wines were good and the place is gorgeous
As wedding photographers, we had the pleasure of capturing a couple's special dat at Clos LaChance Winery, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The venue is stunning, with a beautiful aesthetic and ambiance that provided the perfect backdrop for breathtaking photos. The staff at Clos LaChance were incredible to work with. They were warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, which made our job so much easier. We couldn't have asked for a better setting to document such a memorable occasion. We highly recommend this location for any couple looking for a beautiful venue and seamless wedding day.
We had a fantastic time decorating a wedding at this venue. The staff was helpful and efficient, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. The venue itself was stunning, providing the perfect setting for our arrangements.
A good place to visit for wine tasting. Nice views.
Very nice property and atmosphere! The wine was also really good, and reasonably priced. One of my favorite wineries in the Bay Area!
This is a winery I like very much. Spring is the most beautiful season in the valley. Spent most of the day in the spring breeze!
Clos used to be our favorite winery in the region. We had our wedding at Clos, and our wedding album was on display in the tasting room for years. We have been a wine club member since 2008 and have been sending many friends their way. This weekend we brought five friends with us to do wine tasting at Clos. Having not had any chance to visit for the past 5 years, we were excited to visit the familiar grounds and take in the gorgeous weather. When we got to the tasting room, we asked if we could have free tasting with our friends (5 of them). The woman working behind the bar told us that we could only have four free tasting as a member. We would have gladly paid for the extra tasting, had she explained in a friendly and respectful manner. She was rude, abrupt, and paid no attention to us being long time members. This is probably the same woman who, in some of the other reviews, yelled at families who brought their minors. One of the other staff members tried to intervene, and she abruptly told the other staff member off too. When I pointed out that she could have been nicer in her communication, she said: "I do not appreciate your telling me how to do my job."I was flabbergasted -- I cannot imagine a business would treat their long-time loyal customers that way. It is not about the one $20 tasting, it is about how you handle a customer request and how you treat people. Besides, it was not an unreasonable request as we have not been to the facility for years.Clos still has gorgeous grounds and good wines, but the level of customer service is severely lacking. Honestly I cannot recommend them any more. One star for the views, and one star for the other staff members who were nice. They have lost me as a loyal customer.
The wine and songwriters events are amazing. It is interesting to hear the story behind these songwriters' well known songs and to hear them sung from the writer's point of view. By a bottle of wine and enjoy the banter between writers. Warning: if you go once, you'll want to go every time.
A delicious glass of ruou for a long, great day
Beautiful place, cold atmosphere.

Very nice
Went on a Friday @ 11:30am and we were the only ones there! This winery was the highlight of our trip. Everything was so picturesque and the wines were heavenly. Our guide was great and the experience was truly amazing. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough! (Late post: October 2022)
We had a great visit to Clos LaChance Winery! The selection of wines were really nice and the grounds are beautiful. Ideal for weddings or just taking some time adventuring into Morgan Hill. I recommend this winery and their flatbread pizza!
Fantastic location and venue, with spectacular views. The singer/songwriter events are a lot of fun and a great night out. Only tried the sauvignon blanc, and it was decent.
If you’re looking to come here with your family, save yourself the trip because not only are your kids not allowed, but they’ll take pleasure in making a scene out of it and kicking you out. We dared to walk into the tasting room with a stroller and the gal behind the bar very loudly and rudely told us we had to leave, disturbing all the other guests in the tasting room. If you can’t afford the insurance to allow kids on your property (really…?) then fine, but learn to communicate that in a respectful manner as opposed to publicly embarrassing your paying customers. This entire experience has told us everything we need to know about the kind of people who run this place and we will happily take our business elsewhere—there are plenty of welcoming wineries in Morgan Hill pouring much better wine.
