It’s a very small place, but ambience was good. Satay Chicken was great, Golden Tofu was ok , it’s kind of fried tofu. Pineapple fried rice was full of flavors. Pumpkin curry kind was sweet and didn’t liked much. Pas Thai was average. Mango with sweet sticky rice felt too sweet. Most of the items felt like sweet, so it’s hard to taste any other flavors.
Good quality ingredients done well, with dishes having their own specific flavors. I know this is how it should be, but it's not always the case. The only issue we had is it can get a little loud while dining inside.
This establishment serves really good Thai restaurant in the East Bay! The veg stir fry options we tried have well seasoned tofu and vegetables. The use of green peppercorns to enhance the flavor of the dishes makes this place stand out from the others!
Andaman Thai in San Ramon offers typical Thai food—decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. I appreciated that they have outdoor seating, which was a nice option since I had my kid with me and could easily take a walk outside. There's plenty of open space around the restaurant for an after-meal stroll or a quick stop at Trader Joe’s or Cold Stone Creamery nearby.
The service was quick, and the waitress was friendly, which made for a smooth dining experience. One downside for me was the seating—having a back issue, I found the chairs uncomfortable, which took away a bit from the overall experience. All in all, a solid spot if you’re in the area and craving Thai, but nothing particularly memorable.
Pumpkin thai was yummy. However, pad thai and drunken noodle was so mushy and flavorless. So disappointed. Service was nice though.
Excellent Thai food. Hot sea food plate, Red Curry Chicken, Sticky rice. All very good.
Ordered a bowl of noodle soup. Generous amount of meat, both chicken and minced meat. Bean sprouts were well cleaned. Soup base was savory and blended well with noodles. The noodles were very similar in texture with the Cambodian noodles i had at Mi Eatery in El Cerrito Ca. I was a happy guest. My lunch partner ordered pad thai. It came in generous portions but found it too sweet for her taste bud.
Long wait over an hour and they don't take reservations. The food was delicious.
Excellent food
This dining establishment boasts an impressive selection of fresh and delectable food. The efficient service and the staff's remarkable politeness are notable highlights. The staff's friendly demeanor creates a warm atmosphere, making me a repeat customer. My only suggestion would be for the restaurant to consider expanding its capacity, as it often becomes overly crowded, especially during weekends.

I had an amazing dining experience at Andaman Thai in San Ramon! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. The dish I ordered had a great balance of spice and texture, and every bite was satisfying.
The service was friendly and efficient, making the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. If you're looking for authentic and flavorful Thai cuisine in San Ramon, Andaman Thai is definitely worth a visit!
You better not order with DoorDash. They take forever to make delivery orders. If you’re hungry better eat some snacks and check out 3h later if your order arrived.
The best Thai I have ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. I have never been disappointed!
I can’t say enough good things about Andaman Thai (San Ramon). With two convenient locations, they consistently deliver authentic and flavorful Thai cuisine with outstanding service.
From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an amazing meal. The menu offers a fantastic variety of traditional Thai dishes, from rich and creamy Curry to perfectly balanced Pad Thai. The ingredients are always fresh, and the flavors are bold yet well-balanced. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to accommodate dietary preferences. Whether dining in or taking out, the food is always top-notch. The portion sizes are generous, and the presentation is beautiful. Both locations (San Ramon/Walnut Creek) maintain the same high standard of quality, making it easy to enjoy a great meal no matter which one you visit. If you’re craving delicious Thai food, look no further—this place is an absolute gem! Bon Appetite
