This place absolutely has the best donuts! I drive here forty minutes from the east bay for their maple custard filled donut. It's seriously the best donut I've ever had. The breakfast sandwiches are also good. They take cards and the staff is very kind and friendly

I am sorry to say I was not a fan here. They have a particular "style" to their take on donuts. The frosting on the old fashioned chocolate is very thick and sloppily slathered on. On many of them, they don't evenly cover the donut at all. I found it to be disappointing. The second donut, a modest chocolate cake, wasn't good either. I would not recommend this donut shop.

Celebrating National Donut Day 5 days late but wanted to check out this place since Yelp just released top donut places in the East Bay and this was on there. And with a name like Best Donuts you have to! I usually go to Dainty Donuts just up the street but I'm always down to look for other great donut shops. I wasn't impressed with the display and variety here. Maybe I came too late at almost 11 am on a Saturday but there wasn't much to choose from. I wish I saw the Yelp ad that said get a free donut with a sandwich purchase cuz I ended up getting 2 b'fast sandwiches which were ok. I did get the last glazed twist and I ended up throwing it away because it kind of tasted like plastic or the quality was those processed donuts in boxes in grocery stores. I got my son a cinnamon roll and I guess he wasn't very impressed either cuz he threw some of it on the ground. I ate what was salvageable and I did like it actually. It was fluffy and soft the way I like my donuts. I was really looking forward to having an Apple fritter but they said they were sold out even though I saw one on the bottom shelf but maybe that was reserved for someone. Needless to say I will stick to Dainty Donuts from now on. But that's just my opinion but seems like enough people like them to have almost 5 stars.

Doesn't look like much at first- very hole-in-the-wall-y, but the ladies working at the counter were so nice and greeted me with smiles. I ordered the bacon, turkey, and egg croissant breakfast sandwich, which was delicious and a perfect amount. I would have preferred if there was more seating and a bathroom, but I sat at one of the outside tables, which was pleasant. Would come back!
If I can give this place no stars I would .. definitely again messed up two of my sandwiches .. why would you repeat my order more than once when I know what I order and yet sandwiches weren't prompt and understanding what they had said below they're breathe was really offensive .. now guaranteed Id never return back to this place even tho it's the closest donut place.. again wouldn't recommend this place again ... To the owner .. I'm not pleased

Not recommended place to place order if you like deliver service from this shop. Super slow service. You are expecting getting your order an hour or more. Donuts taste decent. Don't waste your time and money here.

My daughter wanted to have donuts to spend the last day of her winter vacation. She chose a chocolate donut and a sprinkles. I tried the chocolate one and it went perfectly with coffee. Nice donut place.
