It's like any other trendy, supposedly fast cafe but worse. They were trying to go trendy with the decor and loud music. However, due to the loud music, the cashier is unable to hear the order correctly. They have games and books, which was curious because this is a location for work, I quickly found out that they are so slow that they provided entertainment. They are expensive, and tend to be cheap with their portions. For example, a latte or matcha latte will most be milk, you are lucky if you taste the coffee or matcha at all.I went after two weeks they had been opened for the first time, they made mistakes and were extremely slow but I understood that it was a new place, still training their personnel (this should've been done beforehand, though). Since then, I gave it a month or so more before returning a few more times, it hasn't improved much. I miss the place that used to be there, Gatherings. At least they were efficient, attentive and had better options for food. The people that work here, at Bishop Farms, always look lost.If you go during the morning or afternoon rush, it's better going somewhere else. If you can spare 5-10 more minutes (when it is not rush time), go to Starbucks or Peet's. Even if for convenience, it is not worth it.

I had the bagel breakfast sandwich this morning. The spinach smelled like fish. It was the worst breakfast sandwich I ever had. Made my stomach hurt. Hope I don't get food poisoning. Never will I go here again.

Extremely limited menu options that are horribly overpriced. I've tried eating here 3 times now - the first time the lost my order and simply gave me a voucher for a free lunch, the 2nd time I had an average (at best) sandwich that cost 10+ bucks, and the third time I didn't feel like eating one of the 3 things they offer for breakfast. Bishop Ranch made a HUGE mistake by kicking the decent Gatherings cafe out of this spot and replacing it with this place.

Slow, overpriced, quality isn't good. I went in and ordered a triple espresso which cost $6. Ridiculous. I went and waited for it to be made, then the cashier came over and said she overcharged me accidentally and "let me know tomorrow and I'll give you a discount on something else." Um, how about you give me back the money you overcharged me right now? On top of that the espresso took 10 plus minutes to get because "the machine takes a while to warm up," and this was around 1 PM. What kind of coffee shop / cafe isn't always ready to serve coffee? I've ordered a panini that was burnt on the outside. My coworkers have all tried the place at various times since it opened and almost always share the same sentiments. "That's the worst salad / sandwich I've had in a while," "it took forever to get," etc. The interesting thing is Round House up the road which is under the same group is amazingly fast, efficient, and good, but this place is horribly run and staffed even a couple of months after opening. Avoid if you can until maybe months from now they finally make some changes.

It's okay in comparison to my office cafeteria, I prefer this. Get a fresh made sandwich or salad over the premade if you aren't in a hurry. I prefer the Bishop Farms at Roundhouse on Camino Ramon. Paninis tend to be on the greasy side for me. The bread on the premade sandwich tends to dry out. I haven't tried breakfast yet, but I like the decor.

Decent food for an office park setting. They have some nice outdoor eating areas and the food was fresh and tasty.

This review is for the new Bishop Farms location at BR1 at 6111 Bollinger Canyon. I'd give this restaurant one star except the staff are friendly and the space is nice, although the line to order quickly backs up through the dining room. The food gets 1 star- I've eaten a sort of decent Cubano sandwich, which tasted good but wasn't very satisfying, with a single slice of pork. The salads are really a problem, and I'm not sure how a restaurant fumbles a salad so bad. They're very, very salty, almost to the point of being inedible, and the lettuce comes pre-dressed (but only the lettuce- other ingredients aren't dressed at all), which is not my preference, given how quickly lettuce wilts when dressed. As others have mentioned, the people handling food do not wear gloves, which isn't necessarily a problem if they wash their hands frequently and between handling orders, but the person who was my cashier also made my salad, and I did not see her wash her hands. They grab lettuce and toppings and lunch meat barehanded, instead of using tongs, scoops, or other serving utensils. No thank you! Also, you can build your own sandwich for $9.50, unless you want meat and/or cheese on the sandwich, in which case, there are up charges ($3 to add meat, $2 for cheese). I don't know about you all, but a sandwich that's just bread and condiments and lettuce is not a sandwich! Why would you have meat and cheese be optional add-ons, rather than include them in the base price of the sandwich? Annoying. Makes me miss Gatherings and the nice people who owned it.

I have bought a few things from here which i base this review on. First, the salad i bought from this place was very bland and the chicken seemed old and frozen. The latte was also pretty horrible, milk was not heated enough and honestly tasted just like milk. Lastly, i bought a bagel from here which wasn't fully toasted and the small amount of cream cheese it came with on the side was disappointing. They don't even bother making it for you. It is so hard to mess up three simple items!!

It's the first day of operation so there are some things to iron out but otherwise the service and staff are very capable. Prices are pretty reasonable and the variety of goods for sale is a nice improvement over the last place.

They just opened a restaurant in Bishop Ranch and i noticed not all employees are wearing gloves. An employee was handling lunch meat with her bare hands, then put it on someone's sandwich! Where gloves when handling people's food!

Great spot! And the only one within walking distance. Friendly staff, good food and coffee. They always have fresh water with fruit in it.

Got the Chinese chicken salad today. The salad itself was bland and the meat quality was not good. If you can step out of bishop ranch to check out some of the salad places we have in the area, it would be worth the time and money.

Great addition to Bishop Ranch 15! Our group got a mix of sandwiches, paninis, and salads, and all the portions were enormous. The chicken in the Firenze was stackedddd and the paninis were juicy, flavorful, and not dry. The southwest salad was so packed that there was no room to shake, but the dressing wasn't very noteworthy. Kinda blah and could use my flavorful punches. Will definitely be back to try more sandwiches/paninis, and can't wait to try the breakfast options!
