Been here 45+ min still waiting on food. Rude service, place is not worth it.

Bishop Grill is located inside the Marriott hotel so it's super convenient... However the menu is extremely limited and it took forever to order a to go entrée even though I was sitting at the bar. Do yourself a favor and drive a mile or so to find far better fare.

Not sure why there aren’t any negative stars to rate on google. One of the most pathetic breakfast service I ever had. You have to search for someone in restaurant for at least 15-20 minutes, then go to front desk and ask if the restaurant is even open? Or Maybe it’s automated service? No clue !!Rude unwelcoming server. All tables dirty with piles of used plates. Greasy food, soaked in oil / grease, stinking tomatoes in the omelette. The only good thing was the piece of avocado.Menu what says online doesn’t even exist.

Breakfast buffet was not good at all.Eggs were wet and gross, hash browns actually smelled bad; fishy almost. Coffee & OJ were fine. This would have been nothing to mention IF this was complementary as I thought, but this buffet was $25 - a preposterous sum for the food served. I would expect far better from Denny's <$5.The staff was warm and friendly - no complaints there.

Wife and I had a great tasty dinner served by friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for more after a long day of travel.

Mushroom soup was very tasty. Kale salad was decent but the lettuce was a bit wilted. Prons were OK but lukewarm. Steak medium rare steak came out well done. The topper was that The food service was horrible. We ate one of our meals and the server didn't even come to check on us to find out that our steak was well done. It's New Year's Eve and so far I'm very disappointed

Tiny menu selection. Definitely not a 4 star for food. Caesar salad was like store bag salad. Meatballs just ok. People walking around with no masks on. Was hoping for better food. I'd hard pass this one.

We met with friends at this place for lunch. we heard about this place from quite a few people. Well, it was a winning. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

This hotel/conference center restaurant is in a Marriott Hotel that sees many guests and expects crowds from conference breaks. Even so, I had to wait almost an hour, 5:50 to 5:48 for a Cobb Salad. Servers gave no acknowledgement, reason or apology. The manager was the same. Everyone was polite and the salad was perfect. That did not make up for the wait. I couldn’t tell if it was staffing if the servers, kitchen staff or just poor management but it was definitely not Marriott style.

Bishop Grill is located inside the Marriott. You are required to pay for parking but because it was a very slow weekday night, we were able to park in front. The service was great. The menu was not too extensive but it was delicious with reasonable prices. Definitely going again!

Christmas Day 2019. Not a lot of places open, so friend and I tried Bishop Grill in the San Ramon Marriott Hotel at 1:00 PM for lunch. Neither of us had been there in ages, since it was called Stix. This would have been a 3 star review (kind of cold décor/ambiance and limited menu). But several things earned the 4 stars. It was Christmas Day - small staff. First the SERVICE - a busser coming out of the kitchen (name Saw?) watched us hesitate and immediately played host and showed us to our choice of tables. Bartender/server (Tan) managed bringing menus, cheerfully explaining options, taking orders, delivering food with Saw AND tending bar! Both of them with friendly smiles. FOOD - We both got the Marriott Burger - decent, nothing special - meat done as requested. I added sautéed mushrooms and that brought price to $20! For a burger and soup! But, OH, the SOUP! A creamy white bean and ham soup that was absolutely DELICIOUS! OMG it was SO good! A perfect Christmas soup. Tan also made me a perfectly delicious Manhattan. It had a Luxardo cherry! Do you know how expensive those are? Such a treat. Helped ease the pain of the $14 cost of the Manhattan. I would go back for another of Tan's Manhattans! So 3 stars for ambiance/burger and 5 stars for the excellent service, the bean soup and Manhattan = 4 stars. Being in the 'burbs, we're slow getting used to San Francisco prices. At least Bishop Grill validates parking - so be sure to get your ticket validated. Kudos and thank you to both the back of house (OMG that white bean & ham soup!) and the two guys (Tan and Saw) working front. And the valet parking and hotel check-in desk folks who greeted us like you were glad to see us. You all treated us like you were happy we were guests, instead of wishing you were home with your families on Christmas. Happy New Year to you all.

A hotel bar/restaurant that holds the standard high. Service is impeccable and the food will not disappoint. It's great if you are a hotel guest as there is no need to look elsewhere in the area for a Good quick meal. Menu is diverse enough and has something for everyone.

Our meal took 1 hour to come out of kitchen. I ordered a gluten free grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and avocado. After an hour when it came - they had microwaved the cheese and no tomato or avocado - a limp sandwich. I asked for a new one. Another 20 minutes went by - I got another limp sandwich this time with tomato no avocado. I asked for avocado to be brought and ended up not eating the disgusting/non grilled/ microwaved sandwich - just the avocado & tomato. I am staying in the hotel but won’t eat at this place ever again and suggest no one else waster their time and money here either!!

4.5 stars! Cynthia was the most amazing server and hostess. Such a pleasure and a joy to talk to, and she made me feel right at home. For dinner I ordered the mixed green salad (adding avocado and hard-boiled egg) as well as an order of Korean BBQ wings. The salad was full of fresh, delicious greens, tart slices of green apple, blue cheese crumbles and candied pecans. Yum! I wish the avocado was cut into chunks instead of served as thick slices though, but that's just personal preference. I'd rather not have to knife-and-fork my salad (I'm clumsy!). I enjoyed the wings, even though I received an order of buffalo instead of Korean BBQ. Cynthia offered to have an order of Korean BBQ made for me, but the buffalo wings were so good (not too spicy and not too much sauce) that I decided to stick with them. During dinner, I also enjoyed a rum cocktail called the Jamaican Rainstorm. It was a very well balanced cocktail that just screamed "tropical vacation".
