Cha Thai Bistro

Went in to pick up a to-go order to find that they had given it to someone else. Wouldn’t be a problem except they acted like they didn’t want to remake my food and told us “I hope that wasn’t your friend that took it”, insinuating that my friend who was with me and I were running a scam on them. The lady at the front also asked us for our names when I had already given her my name with my order and information. I don’t appreciate being treated like a criminal because of negligence on their part. They also remade my food with meat in it instead of tofu, so as a vegetarian I couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed with this treatment and would not return!

Came in with my friend and they had given her order to someone else. She gave her name and showed the order. The lady said she had given the order to another young girl. At first we were just standing there because they weren’t being helpful and we thought they were trying to get us to double pay. Eventually they remade the order and I bought a tea but when we went up to pay for my drink and pick up her order and when we walked up they said “i hope that wasn’t your friend” and asked us for our names as if she didn’t give her name when showing her her order confirmation on her phone. so insulting when you were the ones that apparently didn’t check to see if someone else before us had an order confirmation or gave someone else our order on accident. being insulting and making us uncomfortable because you aren’t competent enough to check your orders is so rude and weird. When we got back we realized my friends soup had chicken in it despite the order being tofu because she is vegetarian so she couldn’t even eat it. I told my mom and she said she doesn’t even go here anymore because they messed up her order last time too. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this was a genuinely upsetting and weird experience as well as a waste of money.

We came here as we wanted some Thai food while we were near the location. The restaurant was short staffed and the front was managed by one lady single handedly. She still got us our seats, took our order and served us one of the best Thai food we have had in ages. I do hope they get more front staff soon. Will definitely come back again or put a go to order.

One of the better Thai food restaurants I have eaten in. They serve you lots of veggies with their dishes and their prices are very fair. It is a family run restaurants.

Outstanding! I’ve eaten here a half dozen times and gotten takeout a few times. Every time, the food has been absolutely delicious, the service is very welcoming and friendly, and the speed is as good as it could be. I highly recommend the tom kha, fresh spring rolls, and basil pad kra pow.

Cha Thai Bistro is what happens when a place actually delivers instead of “elevating.” The tom kha soup is ridiculous—silky, perfectly balanced, no coconut sugar bomb nonsense. It’s the kind of dish that makes you annoyed you ever ate a worse version elsewhere. Service is calm, attentive, and respectful, not fake-cheery or rushed. If you think you’ve had the best Thai in the Bay Area, you probably haven’t. This is the benchmark.

We ordered calamari fried , chicken wings and beef basil fried rice.. all foods quantity was very few compare to price and other restaurant.. basil fried rice was full of vegetables.which was large amount of only veggies..and very low portions
of rice and beef . It was not sufficient for a one person.. very disappointing.

The best Thai food of my life! I ordered the Pineapple 🍍 fried rice and it was exquisite!! The service was fast and warm. Atmosphere was chill and calm. Restaurant and bathroom was clean. We are dying to go back! 1000/1000. Prices were very good. Portions were generous! Tesla chargers nearby.

We ordered Green Curry which was really flavorful and highly recommend. Tofu stir fry that we ordered could have been better, sauce was salty, sweet and I have had better stir fry in our area. Sweet Roti was ok. The grandma who was the waitress for us was very friendly and provided an excellent service. Ambiance is good.

Monnie was an exceptional waiter to us!! She deserves a raise and made our experience extra delightful. Food was amazing!! I highly recommend this place for Thai food. Pad Thai noodles and fried rice was absolutely delicious 😋 atmosphere beautiful and clean. Thank you 🙏 Monnie for your prompt wonderful cheerful service. Happy New Years!! Omg soooooo delicious ? the lady that served us I think her name is Maani super sweet and friendly. Great service cute little restaurant. Food is amazing even the Thai tea ! Will drive down here from Oakley just to eat here.

Pathetic experience with To GO. Cheated us by not giving mushrooms , chestnut or baby corn in Veggie delight in spite of putting in menu. Upon requesting, they put the phone down disrespectfully. Also fried rice didn’t have Tofu even though mentioned while placing order. Don’t get To go as they use not knowing English as an excuse.
