Very good food. We usually order takeout but the 3 times we've eaten here we've had excellent service. Not much in the way of ambiance or decor but if you want great food and great service at a reasonable price you should check it out. Highly recommend the Benedicts, biscuits and gravy, sweet cakes, okra, and definitely try the crawfish tails, catfish basket, and hush puppies.
Update Oct 8, 2024...We were dying to stop in and try lunch having thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast on our last visit. After looking at the menu we both decided on the Jambalaya which turned out to be a great decision. Their Jambalaya has a smooth, mellow taste with a hint of spice that warms up the more you eat. With plenty of Andouille Sausage and Chicken, this is a hearty, filling, "Comfort Food" menu item. We thoroughly enjoyed this choice and can't wait...
This place tries really hard and does a surprisingly excellent job most of the time on all three categories -- food, service and atmosphere. This is a New Orleans Mardi Gras themed restaurant and bar, very well staffed and appointed, with a diverse variety of menu options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and very good at customizing them to meet dietary requirements and preferences. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone
