Dainty Donuts

Dainty donuts, a replica of what could have been. Ever since the ownership change and take over of Great Donuts, it’s become clear that great has left more than just the name of this shop. The donuts have caused disappointment amongst my nieces and nephews. The glaze is nothing more than a dusting and the donuts leave a lot to be desired.

Decent doughnuts but horribly overpriced. For 3 doughnuts, I paid around $8. They weren’t really special doughnuts either. For the quality compared to the price, it’s too expensive. Shame considering we live so close.

This review is for a DoorDash order. I didn't know I was ordering close to their closing time and so various donuts I ordered were out. They called me to offer alternative options. The owner even glazed some with strawberry for me even though they were out. and when the order arrived I even got some bonus donut holes! Excellent service. Happy donut lover

First, we have been coming to Dainty at least 5+ years, not regulars, but on occasion.
*** PSA*** Customers with allergies (e.g. nuts) - once you mention your allergy concerns to the employee, BE VERY OBSERVANT on how the he handles cross contamination. First, our guy (young) did not know how to handle our request to keep one of the donuts away from nuts. He did not know what to do. Once his co-worker advised him to get a clean tong from behind, he was careless about cross contaminating... and unapologetic about this when I point things out to him. NO !!! Owners needs to properly train their employees, food allergies is a serious matter.

I stopped in to get two donuts and they end up costing me $1.90 each. That's 3.80 for 2 donuts.
Just after the pandemic they were $1.75 and before that they were under a dollar..
.99 cents a donut at Safeway.

Apple fritter was huge and quite delicious. I walked with it my bag for like 3 miles in the heat and it travels surprisingly well, I appreciate that in a pastry.

So very delicous

This donut shop had a excellent selection of donut and pastries. Not only did they have the traditional donuts, but they also had a variety of pastries that complemented their selection.
