Extremely Disappointed with Today’s Order
I am very disappointed with the service I received today. I ordered three rotis along with curries and was shocked to receive only three small 6-inch rotis (almost like fulkas) for $15.
I have ordered the same items multiple times in the past, and the rotis used to be nearly 12 inches in size – covering a full plate. That is the only reason I ordered three this time.
When I called to raise this concern, instead of acknowledging the mistake, the staff denied ever making large rotis and were unwilling to accept my feedback. This was very frustrating, and we eventually had to eat white bread with the curry.
I request you to kindly look into this matter and maintain consistency in food quality and portion sizes
Really really disappointing, i brought so many frnds for your chaat stalla but never new this kind of service

Pulled up to Indian Hotspot in San Ramon last week and omg 🔥. The jalebi, pista barfi & milk cake were next level – like straight up the best I’ve had in a while. Sweet tooth = happy 😋. Their pani puri was hella good too, super filling and easy on the wallet. Lowkey my new go-to spot for desi cravings 💯🍬🥭

Went there for dinner buffet, after lot of people recommending how they have changed the chef. Food was below average. Lot of items had too much salt and lemon. And items were not warm enough, naan felt like it was made in the morning. Definitely not worth $25.99, given you have so many other better Indian food options around.

Went for dinner at 7 on Saturday. Ambience was good. Choices were enough. But food was not warm, even after requesting twice to two different staff members. Except the halwa, taste was subpar. Salt was on higher side in multiple food items.

The lunch buffet in this restaurant was amazing! The spread of items here was unbelievable - four varieties of chaat, four starters, four curries, mango lassi, jal jeera soda, salad, two varieties of sweet. The quality of the food was excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant is very good. Could not have asked for a better experience. Don’t miss this superb restaurant in San Ramon!

We recently hosted our birthday party at Indian HotSpot, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was flawless — but what truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional service.
Raj was incredibly professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making the event perfect for our family. He worked closely with us ahead of time to understand our needs, guided us through the setup, and ensured every detail was handled smoothly on the day of the event.

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve been a regular customer and have often enjoyed the chaat from this restaurant, but unfortunately, my recent experience with the dahi puri was quite disappointing. I received only 5 puris for $11, which seemed unreasonable given the portion size. Moreover, the puris contained only yogurt and black salt, with no additional chutneys or toppings that typically make this dish flavorful and enjoyable.
What was more concerning was that the potatoes inside the puris tasted stale and had an unpleasant odor, which made the dish inedible. If an item cannot be prepared or served properly, I believe it would be better to remove it from the menu rather than risk disappointing loyal customers.

Weekends buffet has a lot of options for veg and non-veg.
Went here for the 1st time this week. Ambience, atmosphere is a thumbs up! Food variety was amazing but the taste wasn't upto the mark for some of them
. Paneer was literally rubber in both starters and main course, chowmein was dry, naan was dry, hard. Veg biryani was also pretty dry. I liked their soya cheap, chicken seekh kebab. Service was slow and by service I only mean cleaning up used plates even though the place was empty( just 4 families were there in the entire restaurant) . Desert options were good. They charged us upfront for the buffet , $28 per person + 6% for buffet service + tax. So yes, it is pricey!

I purchased a frozen malai roll from your restaurant. The next day, after defrosting it, I discovered it was completely rotten and stale. Unfortunately, my child became sick after consuming half of the roll.

Terrible service .. taking an order takes forever .. people do not understand basic English .. menu reflects items which they do not serve .. hassling over payment
My catering service was delayed more than an hour .. basic tea was not even available ! Very disappointed!!!
