The steak i received had quite a bit of gristly tendon throughout. But overall it was good. Im glad they actually cook your steak rare when you say rare. Their sauces were also great.
The bone marrow was fantastic. As was the carpaccio. And so was the creme brule for dessert.
All-in-all it was good... but im not sure I'd shell out that kind of money for it again.
We had a fantastic dining experience at LB Steakhouse Bishop Ranch San Ramon. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, making it the perfect place for a special family celebration. The food was exceptional—our buffet had fantastic options and the desserts were just as impressive. The bloody mary bar was a hit as well!
A special mention must go to our server, Ana H, who was kind, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make the afternoon memorable. Without us asking, she secretly organised a dessert with a candle for my nephew, who was celebrating his graduation—it was such a thoughtful touch and made the day even more special. I come from Australia and was only visiting for the occasion and this really made the day unforgettable. Thank you, Ana H!
Excellent service, outstanding food, and a truly memorable experience. My family who live in the Bay Area will definitely be returning!
Enrique, thank you for the amazing service. I appreciate your kindness and heart. The restaurant and bar wouldn’t be what it is without you or your colleagues!! Muchismas gracias 🙌🙏
The food was excellent. The Brussel sprout was crispy outside and tender inside. The steak was just right. My husband's salmon was perfect.
See Jason at the the bar.. He is beyond amazing, remembers us from over a month ago... I don't have words.. Jason suggested great jood and paired it with great drinks. amazing night drink for drink.
Fish was amazing
I have eaten here several times. The service has always been excellent. The food is fantastic. I have only been served one thing that I didn't like (it was the lobster bisque. It had plenty of lobster but was a very small portion for a very big price and the bisque itself tasted far more like tomato soup than lobster). The restaurant is expensive but I think that it's worth every penny. Definitely a special occasion place

Went there during the week and it wasn't busy at all. Probably some of the worst overpriced food we have ever had at a steak place. Filet mignon looked like it was cut in half and overcooked. Wagyu burger was also overcooked and needed to pile on so much ketchup that I could actually chew it enough to swallow. Oysters were decent, but they literally took forever to prepare 6 of them that they brought our food out before them. Not accommodating if you have food allergies at all so don't ask them to make anything special. Plus had to send back drink since they forgot ingredients in it. I mean it was a mess and like burning $$$$$ when the check came. And if you are going to put a server in training out there...do not leave him all alone and have someone there alongside to mentor him.

Excellent food , dry aged ribeye was amazing. All the seafood was outstanding as well, including the oysters and the scallops. Other standouts were the pork belly and the LB baked potato Pretty good wine list and a very good whiskey and bourbon selection. Portion sizes were good but smaller than a typical steakhouse, which we preferred. Service was also on point, prompt, and attentive.. Relaxed upscale vibe. Definitely recommend, and will be back.
Kid-friendliness: Not a huge kids menu but there is a children's sized steak.

Got the tomahawk for 2 medium rare. Luckily my friend likes rare meat because the sides of the steak were definitely more on the rare side. Asides from this, the steak was delicious. The sauces were ok, the blue cheese butter was my favorite of the lot but the best thing to eat the steak with is the salt and pepper on the side.
One of the notable sides to shoutout is the brussel sprouts. It was a big hit with our resident vegetarian and I thought it was very good as well.

I will give this place one thing for being consistently mediocre across the board.

We had an incredible dinner at LB, and after many visits, this experience was so delightful that I felt compelled to share a review. We began with the caviar service paired with a bottle of white Italian wine. They’re offering a great Sunday deal right now—half off on most wine bottles, which was a nice surprise. Next, we enjoyed the Bluefin tuna tartare and a Caesar salad. For our main courses, we shared Hokkaido scallops, a pork chop, and a side of onion rings. To finish, we indulged in Baked Alaska for dessert. The timing of our dishes was impeccable, and our server ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We look forward to our next visit!

We stopped with a colleague after work. Got a good table for two quickly. Very nice service from tge entrance to the end of the meal. Had a deboned whole fish branzino with 2 sides - brussel sprouts and mushrooms, all were great. Dessert choices also worked, creme Brule and molten chocolate cake. Very much recommended.
