We are so glad to finally find a restaurant ‘Masala Ferry’, serving Bengali delicacies in East Bay (San Ramon).
We tried Peas Kachuti, Bengali style Aloo Dum, Fish fry, Kolkata style mutton Biriyani and Bengali style Kosha Mangsho (Goat). Can easily recommend these as must tries.

Really good bengali food and nice naan. Free tee too. A little slow considering there were only a few people there when we ate.

This is the best bengali food I had in Bay Area. What a great feeling to have a place where we come anytime within Tri Valley and enjoy the bengali cuisine.

Excellent Bengali food! The fish fry was absolutely amazing - perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Bengali thali was also really good with authentic flavors and a great variety of dishes. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic Bengali cuisine!

Masala Ferry was recommended to us as a great restaurant for Bengali / Indian food and we heartily second that recommendation. The place is a little out of the way but the food is great and the service is friendly and efficient. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable and enjoy their excellent food. Food is comparable in quality, taste and authenticity, if not better, than Bengali restaurants across the Bay and in the Peninsula. Truly a jewel in the East Bay crown!

Great food. Biryani felt very authentic - just like you get in Kolkata. Kosha mutton was good but the chicken lollipop was outstanding
