Tonight, I went to Nation's in San Ramon, where I have been going for years. Tonight I got the worst service and treatment ever!! I went in expecting to dine in. They told me I couldn't because it was after 8 pm. Yet other people were in there, received their orders after 8 pm and they were able to eat in. Portions used to be generous. They are now skimpy by comparison. I ordered a bowl of chili and prefer the ceramic bowl. The to go size is a cup but I paid the bowl price. See picture below. I realize the pandemic has changed things and I'm all for supporting local business. But if Nation's is going to cut corners, be rude and make it a miserable experience, I see no reason to support them . I regret not going to Five Guys where I could have gotten a full size burger and a generous portion of fries. I'll be going there from now on. It is regrettable as I have been going to that Nations since the late 80's. This is why people stop going to long established places.

Always yummy food here, but disappointed that inside dining closes at 8pm. I live in Niles district and had to bring my food all the way home to eat it. VERY COLD AND VERY SOGGY! we were in the area and stopped to eat. Ugh!

Came back from Fairfield and took my queens for lunch.Ordered the Bacon cheese burger with fries.Super simple.Super gooooooood.I wish they had one in San Jose!!!

Waited 30 minutes for a single burger to go , got home and it was completely wrong. Like not just one thing was wrong, the whole damn thing!

I have been a frequent customer pre Covid. Went there for the first time for breakfast with a friend for the first time in a year. The service was horrible. The order was wrong. Gave us a hard time when we asked them to fix the order. There were only a few take out orders while we were there. As we were finishing eating they were kicking us out so they could close. I will have second thoughts before going back.

We all love this Nations. Try a cheeseburger with nothing added but grilled onions.... AMAZING..... love the BIG fries..... O-rings are a must. The triple-sized breakfast is fit for a king or a really big queen. Go Nations!!

I have come here a few times to order dessert. They have the best pumpkin cheesecake pie I've ever had! It's so delicious it's dangerous. It's smooth and sweet with the perfect combination of pumpkin and cheesecake. I've gifted this pie to neighbors and coworkers who say it didn't last a few days since it's THAT good. My husband loves the apple pie so we usually get a half and half. The service is fast and they always ask if I would like it topped with whip cream which I always say yes too!
