Best Hawaiian food in the Bay area! I’m a regular visitor to a Hawaii and owned a home there for many years, and Ofa’s even rivals the best food in Hawaii. Yes, really! Their BBQ chicken and ribs are packed with amazing flavor, and their Kalua Pork is possibly the best I’ve ever had. The family that runs Ofa’s are wonderful people. You can catch their food truck at Emerald Park in Dublin, and the San Ramon and Livermore farmer’s markets once a week. Don’t miss it!

IF you like southern bbq, if your from Tennessee, Texas or all the above, this is THE place. I've had a lot of BBQ, but this topped my list. Me and my girlfriend drove by the place for so many years, and every time we roll down the window to smell. This was the first day I actually had time to stop, and im SUPER thankful I did. This by far has been the best BBQ. Im originally from TN, and I can honestly say, this place brought me back. 10/10 on every level. PORK RIBS are to die for.

Our family has known Peni, Sherry,there kids and grandkids for over 12 yrs now. Once I saw and smelled the bbq over 12 yrs ago I gravitated towards it and have been a huge fan since. Their island q is the best on the mainland and I recommend trying it all since I don’t have a favorite. You can see the passion and love that this family puts towards sharing a little bit of their heritage through their food with all of us. I highly recommend giving it a try and definitely passing the word to others. Spend some time and say hi and you might also have friends for life. Mahalo 🤙
Just tried Ofa's Island BBQ at the Livermore Sunday Farmer's Market. The food was amazing, great smokey, sweet flavor and generous portion with the chicken, pork, ribs, rice and cucumber salad. We'll worthy the money!

Peni and family cook with love and fresh ingredients from scratch. Flavors are amazing...and just the smell of Peni's BBQ gets your mouth watering. The bbq Chicken, the pulled pork, the ribs....if lucky they will have the Korean short ribs too!! Already planning our next trip back!
The Kalua pig and rice bowl are amazing! Juicy kalua pig and the rice is always moist, they've never served me dry rice and I grew up with them serving food at my swim meets. The cucumber/tomato salad goes perfectly with their food. Worth the visit every time! :)

Huge portions, big tender meaty ribs and the flavor is out of this world. Well worth every cent I spent. The island special was enough for two to dine on with leftovers. Would recommend and will gladly be returning asap! Make sure to check them out at Dublin farmers market.

The bbq chicken and their ribs are to die for. It’s the perfect balance of Smokey with perfectly cooked meat. They have a simple menu with generous servings. The family who runs the business is amazing and is always so welcoming and friendly. They do sell out fast! So get there early to order.
Some of the BEST island bbq I have ever had. Everything is cooked perfectly, tastes fresh and is delivered in a large portions. The menu is simple and straightforward and the food itself is the star of the show. Not to mention it is ran by the most welcoming and caring family. My husband and I are customers for life. Once you try their food you will be hooked, I highly recommend their food.
