It's a new place near our house so we decided to try it out-12 of us. The funny and disappointing thing was that while the waiter was still going around taking order, the first few people who had ordered their appetizers and dinners already got theirs in the table ! Some of us didn't get our drinks after we had starting eating our dinners. The food was ok, service was not good and the price way too expensive for the overall experience! It seems the target for the place are Instagram audience with a picture sofa and food platings- that is what deserves that one star for my review- nothing else. There are many places nearby with much better food/service for half the price- so this place is out of our list.

Located in one of San Ramon's strip malls, One House Bistro offers a blend of tasty cuisine and visually appealing ambiance. You can't tell from the outside, but once you walk in it's pleasantly surprising to see all the flower decorations The food is delicious and satisfying. The cocktails and mocktails were pretty looking and tasty. However, there was a hiccup upon arrival... despite having made reservations a week in advance, a table was not ready for us when we arrived on time. Nonetheless, the staff swiftly resolved the issue. We ordered vegetable egg rolls and tuna tower for appetizers. For mains we ordered grilled lamb chops, braised short ribs, pad see ew, kao soi, carbonara spaghetti and pad kee mao. For dessert, we ordered mango sticky rice and ice cream with caramelized banana. Everything was tasty and well plated. For drinks we ordered lycheetini, hot sake, hibiscus refresher, pink lady and empress cocktail. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. The straws came with a little cute decorative paper flower on top We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out candles lit in a small chandelier on top of ice cream. It was a sweet touch to an already memorable evening. Overall, while there was a minor setback in the beginning, the dining experience was enjoyable, making it a recommended spot.

I had the chance to attend a party at One House yesterday. It is in a unassuming strip mall, but the moment you enter, you are transported to a different world! The decor is so pretty and tasteful. You feel special being in this place. The food was out of the world!! I am a vegetarian and had plenty of options. The cocktails, mocktails, spring rolls, egg rolls, coconut milk soup, fried tofu, salad, thai curries and basil fried rice we had were all the best I have ever had. The family that runs it was very courteous, helped us that beautiful photos of our group and thanked us for supporting their business. Our entire group of girlfriends are planning to bring our families to enjoy it. This is a true gem.

Beautiful space with scrumptious eats and wonderful service. The prices are very reasonable as well. Will be dreaming about the Tom Yum spaghetti until I go back!

I loved this place,we went for my birthday surprise. Just me and my husband. Ambiance is wonderful (all pretty pretty instagrammable). Food is superb too! Service is good, they keep checking if we are comfortable, the staff is less so wait for your food don't be in a hurry. It's worth the wait! We ordered- 1) Purple Oracle (Hibiscus Lychee Tea) (10/10) 2) Bangkok Noodles (Uff love it, never tried this kind before) 3) Basil Fried rice ( The basil aroma and the taste worth the money) For my overall experience I'd give it a 5 on 5 reviews. Lastly, don't forget to take a picture on that couch which says "Good vibes only"

Very fancy ambience and decor. Reminds you of the high tea place. Drinks or ok Avacado egg rolls were good. Yellow curry and noodle were ok ok. Found it very bland.

What a cute little gem in San Ramon! I came with my friend on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was quieter than expected, which worked in our favor to get seated quickly. The servers were nice and attentive, and we got our food and drinks pretty quickly! The decor and ambiance is so lovely with all the flowers. It reminds me of Son & Garden and/or Farmhouse Thai but in the local Tri-Valley area. We ordered: - Thai iced tea: creamy, sweet, delicious! - Unagi don: my friend ordered this and it looked SO good. The unagi is a generous size ($20) - Lychee panang salmon: this one caught my eye and the panang was so yummy! The lychee was an interesting addition and honestly, pretty good pairing with the tomatoes! The salmon filet was grilled nicely. Overall, I'd recommend this place!

One House Bistro is definitely very pretty and Instagrammable. Service and food were great too, making it a solid place to try. We came at around 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon without reservation. The lady told us to come back in around 15 mins as a table was finishing up. We returned after 15 mins and were able to get seated after around another 10-15 mins wait. The restaurant was on the small side so the tables were pretty close to one another. Dragon's Heart (cocktail) - the alcohol was pretty strong. The mango and dragon fruit favors were not that prominent. Thai Beef Salad - decent amount of beef and the sauce/dressing was really refreshing. Carbonara Cream Sauce Spaghetti with Jumbo Prawns - the carbonara sauce was creamy and rich and the prawns were of good size and succulent. Tom Yum Sauce Spaghetti with Fried Chicken - the tom yum sauce was very yummy and aromatic. Fried chicken was crispy. We were happy with our experience. Based on the limited number of items we tried, we felt like the "traditional" Thai items were pretty standard and can easily be gotten at most Thai restaurants. Would recommend trying the more unique/fusion items which might not be as easily available elsewhere.

This place is pretty great for Thai food. I haven't yet tried anything I didn't like, and so far I am still working my way through the menu. The last time I went they were offering lamb chops on their specials menu and Ohemgee, were they good! I would highly recommend making reservations, however, as this place can get very busy. I decided to take a few of my friends heee for my birthday in February, and I was disappointed to discover upon arriving that they had crossed my name off the reservation list and given my table away to someone else. We had to wait twenty minutes for a table to become available and then it was another fifteen minutes before someone came to take our drink order. They were obviously understaffed for such a busy night (a Wednesday), and I think they were still doing a pretty good job despite the circumstances. And despite how busy they were, the food did not take as long to arrive as I had been expecting. Unfortunately, even though I relayed my order twice to our waitress, she still missed two of the items we ordered and we had to wait even longer while those were made. I'm still giving four stars because the wait did not affect the quality of the food--it was all amazing--and the staff was kind and doing their best in difficult circumstances. Also, the presentation of the food is spectacular. I ALWAYS forget to take pictures before chowing down, so you'll just have to take my word for it. And I haven't even gotten to the ambiance! It's a fun restaurant. It reminds me of those little high tea spots I used to take my grandma to. It's all lavishly decorated and I am quite entertained just by looking around the place while waiting for food. All in all, I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants high quality Thai food in the San Ramon area--but make a reservation no matter what day you're planning to eat there!

What a treat to go to such a unique place. Funky floral decor with fantastic service and food. Go there for lunch and you won't be disappointed.

Last Saturday ,I ordered pad Thai tofu and red curry chicken togo ,both of them are not good, the pad Thai are weird, all the vegetables are chopped carrot ,cucumber, broccoli like small pieces which were stealth and not not crunchy( most authentic pad Thai are made with bean sprout and carrots shredded not chop) and the curry are the same chop vegetables ( carrot ,broccoli),zucchini) ,I never eat curry Thai like that before and besides the curry are very watery not creamy, with all the hipe reviews but the food are so disappointed, that is a no for me.

Came here with my SO. We had a great time. Food were amazing. The tuna tower was delicious. Staff were generous, friendly and socialable -- even when they were busy. Good atmosphere and vibes. Would highly recommend this place. Definitely coming back again.

Ambience is beautiful. Lots of insta-worthy shots from floral backgrounds, floral ceilings and chandeliers, and table settings. The dishes are also beautifully plated for all those yelpilicious food pics. Service was good. Friendly and attentive. I was here to eat a simple dinner with my son but my cousins were also here celebrating a birthday. They ordered a lot of dishes which I didn't get to try but will have to next time. I ordered: Coconut Cream soup with tofu and veggies - Beautiful flavors yet so delicate on the palette. The veggies were perfectly cooked. My only complaint is that there were too many inedible leaves and 3 big chunks of lemon grass that I couldn't chew on. I didn't have anywhere to hide it so I ended up spitting them out on the saucer. :( Yellow Curry with Beef - another flavorful dish with tender potatoes, broccoli and other veggies. I could eat this like a stew. The meat was a little tough though. I'd like to come back and try the cocktails and other dishes. Everything looked and smell delicious from my cousin's table. Haha.
