Horrible shift leader. Went to get my coffee refilled and she refused to do it. Not recommended to go specially if you look for a better service.

Waited 20 minutes for two Havana lattes while sat there and watched one person make coffee while the manager was taking inventory. Meanwhile the lobby is packed with people waiting for coffee.

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly!!
It makes me want to come back again.
Even though my drink was made incorrectly, they happily replaced it and greeted me with a bright smile.
Their kindness really stood out.

MY 1 COMPLAINT IS THE STRAWS!!!! GET RID OF THE PAPER STRAWS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! THEY DON'T WORK, THEY'RE A TOTAL PAIN AND I MIGHT STOP GOING TO PETE'S BECAUSE OF THE STRAWS! BRING THE PLASTIC STRAWS BACK!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!

Coffee shop, staff and coffee are great

My wife went into this San Ramon
coffee shop about two o'clock today to buy a pound of coffee to be freshly ground. There was only one person ahead of her in line.

The young woman at the counter took my wife’s order then asked her to wait. The employee said she would bring my wife the coffee when it was ready.

Three or four more customers ordered after my wife. Finally the employee pulled the beans out of the drawer, but immediately stopped because she recognized another customer coming in the door.

She began to chat with that man. Soon he pulled out his phone and began showing the employee pictures. After they finished looking at pictures, she took his order.

At that moment, another employee came off break and finished my wife’s order.

Basically, it took almost 15 minutes after my wife ordered to get her coffee because four customers were bumped ahead of her.

Peet’s - you can do better.

This place serves incredibly wonderful traditional Cappuccino , which I adore! But when I went today and asked for TC, they literally handed me half a cup or even less -roughly four sips. The woman behind the counter saw it and said, "That's how much they give." Since I visit there often, I know how much they give. She instructed the barista to make another cup of coffee, but I refused since I didn't like her response and didn't want to feel like I was getting it for free. Instead, she would have graciously accepted the mistake and i may have even said that’s ok and carried on.
