A small and a good place to try Boba tea. Similar price as compared to other Boba shops. Will come again.

Mango was not at all close to the one shown on their menu. It had no mango chunks just artificial flavor added to it. They also charge extra for no ice which I haven't seen anywhere else. A small cup will cost $8. Very disappointed.

I was in San Ramon earlier in the day (11am) so most boba shops were still not open yet. Seeing that R&B was both near me and open, I opted to stop by to fulfill my never-ending boba craving. The storefront itself is pretty small, but does have some fun tabletop, arcade, and stacks of board games available for patrons to play with. And I noticed a steady trickle of folks coming in to play while I was waiting for my drink. Ordering is done via one of the two self-service kiosks, and I noted there appeared to only be 1 barista manning the premise making the orders behind the counter. I opted to try the Mango Green Tea w/ Aloe Vera. What was pictured in the kiosk was an actual mango drink with chunks of mango and aloe vera. But sadly, what I got instead was a milk tea drink (which I didn't even order) with NO mangos (nor any mango taste). Literally tasted like some green tea was poured in, and then mostly filled with milk. I was initially confused when the barista pointed to the drink on the counter and told me that was mine, as it looked nothing like what was pictured. Choosing the no ice option costs a surprisingly expensive $1 extra. And I opted for boba toppings ($0.75) which turned out to be really soft and mushy. Service was friendly and shop was clean and looked fun to hang out in when there is room. But the boba was quite a disappointment so sadly I won't be returning.

I'm so happy! Drinks and food are amazing. Service great and very friendly. Lots of places to sit and enjoy. I am trying not to visit daily!

took around 25 minutes for all of our drinks to come out. the inside was pretty cramped but had some games available for customers. smelt like weed and fry outside. got one of our drinks incorrect and sized another wrong but at that point we didn't want to spend any longer in store. drinks are mid for the price point they were at (averaged $6-7 for regular sized drink). I had higher expectations for this place tbh.

decided coming back after nine months to try again. you could see that the drink and cup is totally different with previous one even though i order the same drink. this time when i got it, i expect a lot better knowing finally they get the right cup. when i sip, i still feel different. the tea is for sure different with other stores. i know because hawaiian black tea is my favorite and that is the only drink that i order every time visiting r&b store. the taste is ok but still lack of refreshing. well, may be i will try again the next few months and hopefully lots better...

I went in and got a super simple drink but had to ask for it to get it remade 3 times (they chose to remake it because the lid wouldn't come off) due the drinks lid leaking everywhere. I also sliced my hand from a little piece of metal coming off the lid. It wasn't either the worker's or my fault, the sealer was just not working well.I felt really bad ? and apologized profusely! In the end I was handed drink that was barely 75% full and with exactly 8 boba balls in my cup. I didn't want to go back in to get another because I would have been left with nothing at that point. The drink itself was okay. Watered down little for a basic milk tea and I drank almost all my boba balls in one sip... I walked to sharetea to get a side of boba.I wasted 9 dollars for this drink. I won't be coming back.

We ordered: roasted oolong with brown sugar boba, lychee green tea with aloe, and two spicy spam musubi. The teas where tasty but the boba was pretty inconsistent, some where chewy, some were hard and some where super soft -- flavor was good though. Lychee tea was sour and tasted OK, but didn't really get much lychee flavor from it, the presentation wasn't very "clean" looking either. The spicy spam musubi had good flavor but the rice paper wrapper was super chewy and hard to eat. Love the decor of the restaurant, the games are fun but the arcade system was mounted way too high, if it was brought down about 3 feet it'd be much easier to use. Service was fine, but not many people there so our drinks and food came out pretty fast.

Came here on a Friday and it was pretty packed. The order kiosk was lagging a bit and the option to customize your drink had to be typed. I got the hong Kong hot drink, and it was pretty good. Not the best presentation, since there were drink marks on the lid. But the taste of the drink was somewhat decent and accurate to the original hk tea. I just wish they put less condensed milk or none at all, especially since I asked for no sugar. The place was a bit cramped, and no restrooms? They had some games out for the customer, which was kind of nice. It would be nice if they stocked the place with some antibacterial wipes, since a bunch of ppl probably touch the screen. My friends and I also had some concerns with a child serving customers, not sure that was up to code or met legal requirements to do so? I'm not entirely sure of the reason or the details, so I won't push it since it's not my place. The worker was pretty nice and cared about the quality of drink by asking if it was to our satisfaction, if not he can warm it back up. My drink wasn't completely hot, just warm enough to drink. I guess it lowers the risk of having customers burn their tongue.

Ordered the vietnamese coffee, within an hour, I started puking :( 3 Pukes so far. More on the way. Maybe the tea is ok, but the coffee is sus.

Ordered a hot Hong Kong style milk tea on the kiosk and I couldn't make any adjustments. Had to ask about it and she was able to cut my sweetness in half. Thank goodness she did because it ended up being perfect. We also ordered a watermelon drink with Boba and that was good. Also ordered a Vietnamese coffee that was already less sweet but note that their drinks are very sweet so we probably could've cut down the sugar to 25% and it would've been fine. The medium size drink is already really large. I can't imagine what the large drink size is. Cute place and nice ambiance... they had a few video games to play as well as a chessboard. Their order kiosks need a bit of an upgrade because several of their items don't have pictures and don't allow for customizations.

Everything we tried so far been consistently delicious! Should have taken a before-picture... brown sugar (boba) coffee and Oolong rose milk tea with lychee jelly - nearly finished in matter of minutes because we couldn't stop drinking. Highly recommend this place!

I got a taro smoothie with boba. When I tell you it was nothing but syrup I mean it. I couldn't even swallow the sip I took because it was so thick. My husband went back to have them fix it and that drink wasn't any better.
