Certainly a spot worth trying, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the costs are convenient and it is consistently well kept in here. Highly recommended.

Simply the best deli in the area. Family owned and operated and it shows. Friendly helpful service combined with great food. Their rolls are always fresh and their deli meats are superior!

Love this place. Have been coming here since the early 90s. Best sandwich in town and wife loves their soups. Also was a regular user of their catering delivery when I worked in the area. Now retired and still eat there once a week, at least. Have missed them during these COVID19 times.

This is my favorite deli sandwich in the Bay Area. Yes, I know, big statement, I’ve been coming here since 2000... yep, 20 years, it’s one of those amazing family establishments. And the sandwiches are just as good! I like in Oakland now but would come here anytime I’m East of the tunnel... thank you Rolls!!! Btw, it’s all about that Chicken Club and Potato Salad... mmmmmmm.

Not only is the absolute best place to get a sandwich in San Ramon they care about the community and are always willing to help. Turkey Havarti with the works best sandwich in town, it's the only place besides my moms homemade potato salad that I love!! No wonder when I reached out and asked for help with our local HS auction they were one of the first places to reach back out to me. Only shame is they are only open M-F good for them though they get good family time which is so important which is why they run and operate a amazing establishment in a quite part of San Ramon. If you haven't come here for lunch yet your missing out

Best sandwich with half the wait to Dominicos

Most things are really good. The proportions are large and the salads are full and flavorful. Some of the flavors on the sandwiches can be hit and miss. The staff is friendly over all but you have to be extremely specific with what you want and expect. This may not be the best place to go if you are in a rush.

I've been a customer since the early 2000's and typically come in once every 1-2 weeks. I have brought several friends and coworkers here who never knew Rolls existed. Unfortunately, today's experience rubbed me the wrong way...after 16 years positive experiences. I was super excited to see they had beef barley soup. And equally disappointed when she rubbed it off the wipe board just as I got to the register. The "regulars" who I recognized from prior visits, came in right after me, waving at the staff, etc., ended up right behind me in line. When I placed my order I confirmed that they ran out of soup ...unfortunately she confirmed they ran out. As I'm gathering my things, the "regulars" step up to the register...imagine my surprise when the girl at the register let them know that they got the last bowl of soup?!? I said something to an employee who was standing nearby and was given a line about how they "always" save a bowl for them, but that didn't align with the fact that they had it on the board until they saw them walk-in and promptly erased it from the board. I'm a huge proponent of supporting family owned businesses, as evidenced in my loyal patronage of this local business, but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. They also recently lost a long time employee and the front of house hasn't been the same since...

3 Stars for their soup, very tasty , however, can't say the same about their sandwiches. The Veggie Sandwich is decent but the Roast Beef Sandwich was awful! Unwrapped half of it, took a bite and spit it out. It had a very bad smell like the meat was old / going spoiled. There was a lot of meat in it and I opened up the sandwich and all the meat smelled bad. I would have returned it but the deli had already closed and they are closed on the weekend.

Ordered the half sandwich half soup. Pastrami sandwich and chicken tortilla soup. The soup was ok, not too salty like most places. The sandwich was just ok. Friendly staff and they seem to know all the customers.

I drive all the way from Danville to Rolls deli. I'm addicted to their ceasar salad. It's better than those I've had at way fancier restaurants. All their salads are fabulous. Their carrot cake is homemade and truly irresistible. They do run out of it because it is so good so if they have it, definitely try it!

I was sure I'd reviewed Roll's before - but can't find review. FAMILY-OWNED (not a franchise) Roll's has GREAT sandwiches on FRESH bread. I've had so many things: Turkey/Cranberry/cream cheese, Hot Pastrami, Roast Beef, Chinese and Spinach Salads,Tortilla Soup (YUM!). Everything is so fresh and delicious. I love the potato salad side that's included (my choice, you can choose your side). And for me, a sandwich on their fresh-baked sourdough roll means lunch and dinner (when I can control myself). Oh, and the house-made desserts (Mondo Bar, Carrot Cake!) are SO good. Sure, there are lots of places nearby for a sandwich for less than $10. But they don't roast their own meat or bake their bread or slice fresh veggies for your sandwich like Roll's does. Oh, and they display local artists' works for sale. I first started going to Roll's about 25 years ago. Kind of forgot about them when Crow Canyon Commons moved them around the corner and out of sight. Thankfully I've re-discovered them. I'm a fan!

Great sandwiches without all the fuss. They have a wide selection and their bread is always fresh. Very good service and the prices for the portions can't be beat!

Update: This place is still terrible and dirty, but I forgot to mention there is a Mr. Pickles close by and across the freeway there is a Subway. Also, Sprouts makes fresh sandwiches for $6. All of these places including making one with your own hands is better and close by this location. You're welcome.
