SAJJ Mediterranean (San Ramon)

This food was horrible. The falafel tasted like cardboard. The steak was soft and tasted very weird so I threw my whole bowl away. It was literally all disgusting. I feel nauseous. I hope I do not get sick. Never again. What a dissapointment.

Ordered catering and the food was mediocre. If you’re going to charge extra in your catering for “beef kebabs” and it’s ground beef then make it clear so people know what they are getting, especially when you have beef shawarma on the menu that’s actually steak. It was embarrassing to open it for our guests and find mini baked dumplings that were not even grilled (no grill lines or kebab skewer marks). Also, they used soybean oil instead of olive oil which isn’t even Mediterranean (but is much cheaper).

Tasteless and bland, didnt had such worst Mediterranean food. Aa I know it wont taste good, I asked for other spicy sauce but the guy was adamant.

We had the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma and pomegranate chicken wraps and all were very tasty.

Delicious food at good prices. I always feel good after I eat here, like the food is very healthy. The lentil soup is amazing! It’s usually enough food to last 2 days for me if I get a lot in my bowl.

We wanted to try SAJJ from long time finally today we got chance to go there but disappointed
We ordered kids falafel bowl, they mentioned it’s comes with 2 toppings only and so weird Tzatziki Sauce is considered as toppings.
We added only cucumber and Tzatziki sauce but cucumber and tomato was very sour. Avocado is $2.50 extra. Tahini sauce was not good.
Quantity was too little.

I generally love Mediterranean food, this was somewhat different. They had Sabudhaana along with the rice. Taste was very good and filling.

Food is always delicious!? Ingrid was very nice as well.

I do rarely write reviews. I just want to eat & if I don't like the food etc I'm just the type to not go back. So it takes a special kind of person to give me the energy to want to take the time to write about how special they are. Ingry is that person I'm so grateful to eat somewhere I know the one handling something I'm putting into my body. That takes pride & care into what they do. She really makes my day when I come in & see she is there. She cares about her team & making sure that they have that same care as well. If you haven't been here don't hesitate great ingredients for a great price with great people trying there best. Thank you again for the experience always.

This spot is so far our best Mediterranean restaurant! Very healthy options and super yummy! We are here at least once a month. Most of the servers are wonderful. We also enjoy the tamarind drink carefully ?. The spread is great, from couscous, rice, various veges, hummus, grilled eggplants, peppers, various sauces, guacamole (I don't think this is freshly made, probably from a pack?) cabbage, grilled onions etc, yummy soup with all meals!
