“This is a small shop with a lot of heart and craftsmanship. The flavors and ingredients are fresh and strong. The gentleman that works the counter alone takes the time to take orders and also make the items on his own. Kamurocho has an unassuming air that feels like home. It is very simply decorated with chosen items like postage stamps and pokemon cards. Something about that is quite charming. I still need to try all their items but so far the crown jewel has been the shaved ice which is the most decadent, light, balanced dessert I have ever had. They shave the ice into snowflake light layers mixed with the shops custom creme blend and toppings. It's instantly refreshing and satisfying. The drinks have layered complex flavors. You can tell they use quality matcha and fresh fruits unlike other places that just dump in a few pumps of syrup. I really like this place and will definitely come back a third time.“
“The best premium frozen yogurt in town!! 🍦 My favorite is the classic chocolate vanilla swirl—it takes me right back to my childhood! 🥰 The owners, Heather and Aron, are the absolute sweetest, and they always create such a welcoming and fun atmosphere no matter the time of day. If you haven't been to Yogurt Spot yet, you’re missing out. Couldn't recommend it more!“
“We loved working with Emily and her family! We hired them for our son's 8th birthday party and the shave ice was such a hit! Everything was so easy, from questions to booking, event set up and breakdown. Everything was so yummy, tons on options (even an ice cream addo on!), set up was cute, they also did a little birthday flyer with my sons name on it and displayed. They were awesome with the kiddos and we would 1000% recommend booking your next event with Sunny Snow! :)“

“A place that does a mangonada justice was finally found! The mango raspado here is phenomenal, with a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. The base is made from fresh, sweet mango, layered with chamoy and tajín. The crunch of the tamarind candy on top added an extra layer of texture that was absolutely addicting. It truly satisfied the craving. The staff is always nice and friendly, making it a place worth returning to. Best in Hayward.“
“Very pretty lil shop. We went on a rainy Monday and it wasn't really set up. The menus were off and the booths haphazard. But our ice cream made my Grumpa feel like a kid again. The lady wasn't very helpful even with no menu so I looked on door dash. Would have gotten more but it was weird ordering from her so I gave up. Ice cream top notch. Nachos were good junk. It ws clean and the music was nice.“

“I've been going to Snow Bowl when it was MandRo Teahouse and when it was only one store in Fremont so when my friends invited us for shaved ice I was pleasantly surprised it's a new branch in the Tri Valley area. Nothing more to talk about as it's my favorite place for shaved ice whenever I have a chance in the East Bay. They changed their name which is smart because it's the shaved ice that sets them apart not the tea.
Even though it's using Bingsoo (which is Korean shaved ice) I'm fairly certain it's actually Chinese but who cares when it tastes good.
The plaza is big but it's right next to the McDonald's if you have a hard time finding it. Seating is somewhat limited and I think for shaved ice it's better to eat there rather than taking it to go. Service is good enough even if it's usually just one person. Tip is optional which is good. You order through a kiosk.
My favorite is the matcha or the original milk but mango is popular among kids.“
