The best dosa in the area hands downThis is Bangalore style with a crispy exterior. Filling of potato, onion, and spices are spot on. Sambar has a nice tang and the coconut chutney isn't too spicy This is made to order and it's best enjoyed immediately. There is plenty of benches and picnic tables just outsideOwners are super friendlyIt's only be preorders only at this time from their website. Orders start on Tuesday with pickups available on Saturdays and Sundays

Dosa is good but only 3 options. Sambhar and chutney are ok.. Early online order service can be better. You have order on Thursday for Saturday and Sunday

This was the best dosa I've had in the Bay Area! It's a typical Bangalore dosa with amazingly crispy exterior with a soft and chewy interior! It's served with sambar and chutney which paired well with the dosas. The aloo masala inside tasted yummy and we got a generous serving inside the dosa. They have moved to a new location in Milpitas which is not a food truck. Keep in mind they only have takeouts but there is some public seating outside. I recommend eating the dosas as fresh as possible to get that crunch. I highly recommend this place when you are craving some authentic dosas for an indulgent breakfast or lunch!

Over hyped dosa place.I wouldn't go regularly for my dosa cravings.Dosa was way too buttery/oily.Taste was okay. Not greatIf you do not care about calorie intake, this is your place.

Serving cold dosa is not the art of dosa.Chutney was a hack. Seemed like it's made of dry coconut, didn't really hold well.Sambar was sweet - No complaints.Just that the dosa was being offered takeout from a very cold place/office/hall whatever is disappointing.

Best Bangalore style dosas in the Bay Area. The hype is totally worth it. Can't wait for their full fledged restaurant to start.

Their dosas are great. Their business model not so much. You have to pre- order on their website on a Thursday evening so you can eat dosa on Saturday & they get to decide what time you eat ? The link to pre- order goes live at 7 pm and by 7.05 all orders are filled. So you need to be REALLY REALLY fast when you place the order. They will later send you an email specifying the time of pickup. If you dont live in the east bay, you’ll have to drive 30-50 minutes to eat. And oh, its a food truck in a farmers market, so they don’t have a place to sit & eat. I really wish they come up with a better system because their dosas are great. Its hard to find Bengaluru style dosas in the US. It’s very crispy & well roasted & tastes heavenly. Their chutney is great too. I love that they include wet tissues in your order to wipe off the fat from your fingers.

We drove over 50 miles for this dosa spot today. It's a food truck situated in San Ramon's farmer market. In order to pick up dosas here, you have to reserve the dosas on the Thursday before. You'll have to purchase them right at 7 or else you'll miss out on the crispiest Bangalore style dosa in the Bay. The only thing I wish they done is cultivate better chutney and sambar recipes. They were both a little watery and sweet. It takes away from the overall dosa experience. Would I go again? Maybe if i brought my own chutneys/sambar

Best dosa in Bay Area. Dosas are crispy. You get to choose from 3 or 4 varieties of dosa and you need to place your order on Thursday 7pm sharp online. They get sold out in minutes. If your order gets through, you will receive a time slot during which you can come get it from the food truck in The Lot in San Ramon on Saturdays.I know people who drive all the way from Sunnyvale just for this dosa. So, that extra effort of setting a reminder for Thursday at 7pm is totally worth it.

We had heard a lot about this food truck . Needs reservations.I actually went in with no expectations despite all the hype and I must say I am happy with the experience . The Dosa tastes fantastic here. The food truck is located in the farmers market, you select a time and try to be there on time or ASAP(else your dosa gets cold )The packing is good , dosa does not get soggy.I did not like the chutney that came along the dosa !!We tried Masala Dosa , one of our friends tried Cheese dosa but we recommend Masala Dosa. The dosas are very filling, we felt very very full at 2 dosas .There is no one specific place to eat , but you can find plenty around the complex.Note : For those who love their coffee with dosa there is a Starbucks (same complex 2min walk ).Would definitely visit again

Miserable ordering experience. Completely uncivilized. Common sense says that if you cannot increase your batch production, and you are sold out for the week, start taking orders for the subsequent weeks. Have your patrons pre-pay (with a no-refund policy). People who nickel and dime can continue to participate in the current circus, but at least that would give civilized options for others. The only way to order currently is to wait by the device for them to open the ordering window, and then pounce to order (like the majority of the others here) before they get sold out in 3 minutes. Definitely an uncivilized circus.I don't think any food on the planet is worth this uncivilized circus. Skip!

This place deserves a long review. This is hands down THE best masal dosay in bay area. I don't know what 1-star reviewers had in mind, but if you know what real namma bengaluru ದೋಸೆ is, and you miss MTR/Maiyas/vidyarthi bhavan, THIS IS IT. We've all waited at MTR/VB to get that perfect dosay, so this wait and planning of 2 days? I wouldn't mind. All the other places I've tried (Bangalore Café is an exception) have never come up to this level of authenticity - taste, colour, crispiness of double roast, chutney and palya. Please do yourself a favour, book at 7pm on Thursday and rush to San Ramon. You'll find ample parking, added benefits of good coffee and shopping at Farmer's market.

Omg! What an amazing Dosa! I had no idea about this special Bangalore style Dosa, which is special since it’s crisp from the outside while super soft from the inside. This place is super hygienic and super clean, with amazingly fresh ingredients being used. How do I know - well if you’re a foodie, that’s easy to figure out and also the after taste. It’s a small family owned business and while they’re trying to scale and keep pace with the growing popularity and demand, they are very strict about their quality. In no rush to forego the rich quality for catering to a larger number. Obviously, that means a little inconvenience for you to order ahead of time (by Thr 7pm) to get your Dosa on Saturday. Yeah - that’s the only one day! But you would want to wait just for their great taste and quality. It’s a good truck and they are in during Saturday’s Farmer market, with some seating available around the area. They do have some very stringent rules around the order timing and pickup schedules, but that’s all to ensure great service to who has pre ordered. Sounds very inconvenient but you realize that quickly. I wish them good luck and can’t wait to see them expand and scale so we all get to taste their awesome dosas more frequently. Also, they have just 3 variants of the dosa (plain, masala and cheese) but they are all amazing. You can’t go wrong with either. Sambhar and Coconut chutneys are complementary and amazing too. All in all, the best Dosa you could have in the Bay Area. Just try it and you’ll know what this means!!!
