Zachary’s Chicago Pizza

Excellent pizza. While the San Ramon location is not quite as good as the Berkeley location, it's still very good. We go here often.

Pizza was delicious as always...The meatballs were really good also...incredibly great service from our server Antonio!!!

Lovvvve the hell out of this pizza. I discovered this spot 20-23 ago,when i lived in Sacramento. My friends and I loved this place so much we would always stop here for pizza on the way home from partying in the city on the weekends. For many years all of our bay trip ended at Zacharys Pizza. Our friends and us had an unspoken agreement that the person that got to go to Zacharys also buys 1 extra pizza for person that didn't go. But usually we got 2 extra pizzas. One to give to our friend that missed the trip and 1 take home for ourselves. It's quite possible that this is the best pizza I've ever had.

Old favorite. Delicious juicy pizzas. Not so cheesy as one would fear!

Veg friendly. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. Loved the deep crust pizza.

My first experience eating @ Zachary's was in the early 90's @ the location in Oakland on College Ave.Unfortunately, we don't live near any locations! So whenever we have a craving for a deep dish pizza, we try to find the closest Zachary's! ?This is our 1st time eating at this location and we were not disappointed! It was so delicious and satisfying!Mahalo ?

Awesome staff and service. Very friendly and knowledgeable about all their menu items. Great store and atmosphere. Oh yeah.. amazing deep (stuffed) dish pizza. Probably top 5 in US. Im from Midwest and tried the Giordano’s and Lou’s.

Ordered the bbq chicken pizza online for takeout. Food was good and prepared on time even though they looked very busy. Outdoor seating looked nice and welcoming, so I may try that next time.

Wish I could give more stars but the quality here is inconsistent. We ordered a large sausage/mushroom combo a couple of weeks ago and it was nigh perfect--terrific flavor and a great crisp crust. Really nice crew, as well. We ordered the same combo today and while the flavor and service were excellent, the crust was strangely flabby and undercooked. A disappointment, especially for a $30+ pizza.

The deep dish is phenomenal, the best in the bay area. Big salads as well and the take and bake thin crust is delicious and convenient.

I have noted that I have not been here 3x yet it keeps askingI have not been to this ZacharysBut if it's like the others their deep dish is amazing

I’ve been going to Zachary‘s pizza forever. The deep dish pizza with chicken is nothing short of amazing. After a full days hike or hard day cycling in the hills there is nothing better than a pizza here and a beer with friends.
