Got a take away order; just a little cheeseburger and cajun fries. After many years of great Five Guys on two different continents, my first US Five Guys experience was deeply underwhelming. Service was quick and friendly. However, the burger was smashed to hell and had big gaps in the patty. Five Guys isn't even a smashburger joint, but if they were, they would be doing it wrong. I also did not order pickles on my burger, as I dislike them intensely. They piled the pickles...
Overall kind of mediocre.
I ordered a grilled cheese which was done on hamburger buns and sliced American cheese. Poorly melted and kind of greasy.
Fries were kind of soft without any crunch.

We wanted to try this place, so the other day, when my honey was standing outside, she yelled to me, "I have always wanted to try 5 Guys". Without missing a beat, I replied, "if you can handle it" :-)
