Wanted to try this place for a family celebration and we were very disappointed. The homemade strawberry lemonade tasted like lemon water. Mashed potatoes, chicken strips, and mac and cheese all had no flavor. The baked potato was barely cooked and had no flavor. The pulled pork was just okay. I think the best thing was the tri tip and the ribs, especially since they came with bbq sauce. Also, used the restroom to wash hands and it smelled like rotten eggs. Overall very disappointed.

Nope, never again will I purchase food from this place. 1 bought the 3 meat place today 3/8/25 during the Sanger 36th Annual Blossom Day Festival. The meat had no flavor and very bland. The pork ribs was okay due to having BBQ sauce on it. My husband and my son tried the trip tip & brisket, both said the same thing - bland & no flavor at all. Don't even get me started on the sides. I picked the potatoe salad and Mac & cheese. Never had I ever ate potatoe salad that had lettuce mixed with it. I thought maybe some lettuce might had accidentally dropped in the potatoe salad. But nope, the more I took my fork and moved it around it was definitely not by accident. The potatoe salad was mashed up potatoe & lettuce, nothing else. The Mac & cheese literally tasted like Kraft Mac & cheese. I thought it would be like a homemade baked Mac & cheese, nope it wasn't.

Went to give this place another try on Monday. We had a horrible experience the 1st time when they where with the other people. This time, it wasnt that bad nor good, there are still flaws.

1 the young girl that greeted & took our order has no idea or description of the menu, didn't know what flat and watered down soda tasted like.

At the end we gave it a try and my review rate would be a 2! Others might love it, but we ALL have different taste buds and have had better BBQ! ✔️ in the books of not returning but thank you!

Some of the food items are okay. The Lemonade, Tri tip, Mac & cheese, and beans were amazing.
However the potato salad was not good at all, the brisket was kinda like chewing jerky.

Place needs a good deep cleaning, it’s got alot of dirty corners and sticky tables/chairs.

Probably wont be back.

This place has one the best tri tip sandwiches I have ever tasted. You get a choice of two sides with the sandwiches. I had mine with the chili beans and mac & cheese. The sandwich has bell peppers, onions, and tri tip meat topped with their homemade house barbecue sauce. It’s not overfilling but it definitely hits the spot. The meat is tender and not hard chew. Although the chili beans were more watery than my liking, it was still good. The mac & cheese was my favorite part of the meal. They top the mac & cheese with bacon pieces. It paired perfectly with the tri tip sandwich. When I come back, I want to try their potato salad. I was debating between the potato salad and the chili beans. Overall, this place is delicious. It’s a medium sized venue. It feels very comfortable to sit for a quick bite or to watch sports with some friends. They have 6 TVs, so you can comfortably enjoy NBA, NFL, MLB, or anything you’d like to watch while you enjoy your meal. I really appreciated the hospitality and the service. It’s a family-run business, so they welcome you like family. I really like this place. Every time I make a stop in Sanger I make the effort to stop here to get a bite to eat before I head back home. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good BBQ, especially a tri tip sandwich!

Parking: Parking is available on both sides of the street, directly in front of the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. This is a family run business, so they keep it simple and accommodating.

I'm not even really sure what to say. This is hardly a tri tip sandwich. Honestly doesn't taste very great either. Reminds me of school cafeteria meatloaf in flavor. Fries were not good and just tiny bits and the macaroni was bland.

Came into try after all the publicity it had & let me say it did not disappoint. We got a Brisket sandwich with the Mac n Cheese with potato salad.

That Brisket was a homerun, the flavor was amazing it was juicy & had sweet caramelized oniony taste to & not overpowering. The Mac was good but better than most places I've been to. The potato salad was homemade & not that store bought stuff either. Hands down coming back to try something else... Also sorry didn't get a food photo but was to good to put it down.

Mac and no cheese was a huge disappointment. No cheese at all. Not only was there no cheese the pasta wasn't cooked all the way either. Potatoe salad was watery and little to no flavor. However, the tri tip was OK. Small portion for $20 plate. As a first time customer at Sticky icky - I highly don't recommend the sides. At least not the ones I got. Definitely won't be going back either. I think 1st impression is very important when it comes to the food industry. Nice pics on Google but quality is definitely not there.

Needed to grab lunch and it was the nearest place by where I was. I really didn't care at the time what quality I was gonna get, but it ended up being one of the best bang-for-your-buck meals I think I've ever had. $10 and some change for a bacon cheeseburger, fries (decent fries!!!), and a drink. Will most definitely return if I'm around the area again!!

Support you local businesses! :)

Really enjoyed your BBQ Chicken Sandwich while listening to TWO MAN CREW perform at Dorval Winery!!!!

Had really great food. Looked like only one person serving and handling take out orders, so slow, considering how few tables and patrons there were. Bare bones atmosphere, but really good food.

I’d like to share how good the food is…but I can’t. Because they are closed on a day marked to be opened.
