This place has one the best tri tip sandwiches I have ever tasted. You get a choice of two sides with the sandwiches. I had mine with the chili beans and mac & cheese. The sandwich has bell peppers, onions, and tri tip meat topped with their homemade house barbecue sauce. It’s not overfilling but it definitely hits the spot. The meat is tender and not hard chew. Although the chili beans were more watery than my liking, it was still good. The mac & cheese was my favorite part of the meal. They top the mac & cheese with bacon pieces. It paired perfectly with the tri tip sandwich. When I come back, I want to try their potato salad. I was debating between the potato salad and the chili beans. Overall, this place is delicious. It’s a medium sized venue. It feels very comfortable to sit for a quick bite or to watch sports with some friends. They have 6 TVs, so you can comfortably enjoy NBA, NFL, MLB, or anything you’d like to watch while you enjoy your meal. I really appreciated the hospitality and the service. It’s a family-run business, so they welcome you like family. I really like this place. Every time I make a stop in Sanger I make the effort to stop here to get a bite to eat before I head back home. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good BBQ, especially a tri tip sandwich!
Parking: Parking is available on both sides of the street, directly in front of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. This is a family run business, so they keep it simple and accommodating.

Came into try after all the publicity it had & let me say it did not disappoint. We got a Brisket sandwich with the Mac n Cheese with potato salad.
That Brisket was a homerun, the flavor was amazing it was juicy & had sweet caramelized oniony taste to & not overpowering. The Mac was good but better than most places I've been to. The potato salad was homemade & not that store bought stuff either. Hands down coming back to try something else... Also sorry didn't get a food photo but was to good to put it down.

Mac and no cheese was a huge disappointment. No cheese at all. Not only was there no cheese the pasta wasn't cooked all the way either. Potatoe salad was watery and little to no flavor. However, the tri tip was OK. Small portion for $20 plate. As a first time customer at Sticky icky - I highly don't recommend the sides. At least not the ones I got. Definitely won't be going back either. I think 1st impression is very important when it comes to the food industry. Nice pics on Google but quality is definitely not there.

Needed to grab lunch and it was the nearest place by where I was. I really didn't care at the time what quality I was gonna get, but it ended up being one of the best bang-for-your-buck meals I think I've ever had. $10 and some change for a bacon cheeseburger, fries (decent fries!!!), and a drink. Will most definitely return if I'm around the area again!!
Support you local businesses! :)

Really enjoyed your BBQ Chicken Sandwich while listening to TWO MAN CREW perform at Dorval Winery!!!!
Had really great food. Looked like only one person serving and handling take out orders, so slow, considering how few tables and patrons there were. Bare bones atmosphere, but really good food.

I’d like to share how good the food is…but I can’t. Because they are closed on a day marked to be opened.

Best BBQ I've had so far around here. Reedley Parlier Sanger etc. Got the 3 meat plate 4 ribs and tri tip. Mac and chili beans. Beans too sweet for me. Beer also expensive for not being on

After seeing this place featured on TV segment and being relatively close to home, we had to try it. Looking at some of the negative reviews had us wondering, yet our experience was great. It’s extremely casual. Just like a BBQ place should be. Only a few tables to sit at, but when we arrived, all were empty. But, we arrived a little after 5 pm. More filled by the time we left. The service was prompt and friendly. We started with the Meat Candy (think Burnt Ends). Burnt Ends are one of my can’t resist foods. These were very good. (Much better than Westwoods, which now that I said that, that’s a pretty low bar. W.W. really is consistently the worst I’ve had anywhere—I have no idea why I continue to order them there. A hope for improvement? Glutton for punishment? Ha…Only history will know.) Tonight’s were good enough that I’d favorably compare them to any of the many Texas BBQ joints I’ve enjoyed over the years. Right up there with them all. And, a really nice quantity of them in the serving.I opted for the rib plate with the Deep Fried Green Beans and the Bacon Mac & Cheese sides. The ribs were a fair size. I usually like my smoked ribs dry, but I went ahead and didn’t change the order. The sauce is a bit more “tomato-ey” than I normally enjoy. But after the first rib, I really enjoyed it. The beans and Mac & Cheese were flavorful too.My wife had planned to get the brisket platter. The server said it wasn’t available tonight because the brisket came out dry, but a brisket sandwich was available because they chopped up the brisket to prepare it for sandwiches. This is NOT a negative thing. Briskets can sometimes by fickle—even for professional chefs. The sandwich was delicious. Kudos to the chef for holding to a high standard and knowing how to adjust. She got a side of the Brussel Sprouts. My wife has a very similar recipe and they are delicious. I’d like to say tonight’s were better, but come on, she’s my wife….Is this the absolute best BBQ I’ve ever had? No. Sorry, the small towns in Texas are where I’ve found those. For Sanger, Calif.? Awesome! All in all, a very good meal and we’ll try it again.

Tried The Sticky Icky Barbecue for the first time tonight. My husband had the pulled pork dinner and it was delicious. I had the chicken kabob plate and it was yummy. Worth the drive and we will be back soon.
9 visit was SUPPOSED to be refunded to my card per Valarie...guess what? 2/4 and STILL no refund! The reciept shows it was supposed to be CASH but she said it would go to my card. I guess they also LIE to steal your money and not give you your food!Terrible. From start to finish, an hour and left with no food. Walk in the door and told it would be a 20 min wait. It's busy and lunch time, so okay, no problem. Over 20mins passed and I FINALLY get to put in my order. Told it would be another 20 mins. Okay...waited this long, I can keep waiting. 40 mins passed and I'm barely being told there are no more ribs....yet the cashier never bothered to tell me this before hand?? It was bad enough that the items I actually wanted (fattoush, beef kabobs, and beef gyro) were not available but to WASTE OVER AN HOUR after I paid for them to all of a sudden tell me they had none??? I should have known. When the 20 min mark hit AFTER i put in my order, the cashier/waitress was already telling people there was no ribs...but didn't think of telling me until it was already AN HOUR waiting??? Can't rate the food but I can definitely rate the terrible service. Definitely not the same service when it was just Uncle George's.
