Stopped in route to have some California wine. This place is incredible. Best wine I've had yet and owner was so kind to educate us on the beautiful process of wine making. Had to take some bottles home as gifts! Couldn't recommend this place enough, thank you!!

A very welcoming experience is offered at Valley Oak Winery. The Ubicks make it point to engage in conversation while you are tasting. We tasted a viogner, followed by three zinfandels and a merlot. The zins were a bit light for my palette, the merlot had a lot more body to it. They have many other varietals on their menu including a Sangiovese and Barbera which I would have liked to try.

Went in September 2020. Had an amazing experience as we were the only ones there. The owner took us in and showed us all the processes for harvesting the grapes. I've never seen anything like it. Left with a few bottles for sure!! Love small family owned wineries off the beaten path.

My favorite local winery. Mike is friendly, knowledgeable, and overall a great wine maker and host. We have been members for years and have never been disappointed. Every time we take friends here they are pleasantly surprised this gem is in Fresno, even the napa snobs. I can't recommend them enough. My favorites are the Barbara and the petite sirah, looking forward to the upcoming vintages. Still great.

This was our 2nd stop on the Fresno Wine Journey. SO RELAXING! The wine is delicious and the people pouring were very nice. We sat in 4 extremely comfortable chairs and they brought wine tastings to us. We will definitely return.
