My husband and I like to visit Wholesome Choice Market in Irvine and while there I saw this ice cream that looked so interesting in the frozen food section. The flavor that intrigued me most was the "Saffron/Pistachio Nut." I bought the ice cream sandwich which was large...a bit pricey but worth every cent!!! It was absolutely delicious!!! It also has rose water as one of its ingredients...really, you MUST try it!!! It has a gelato consistency and was creamy and smooth and cold and an absolute delight!!!

I tasted this ice cream after a terrific dinner at Basil Mediterranean cafe in Costa Mesa. Outrageously yummy! Loved it! On a search now...

Wow!! Our friend Nima shared this amazing ice cream treat with us today. I have never had such a perfect spoon full of goodness! For me...the “Saffron Pistachio” Laleh is my new love. I am a long fan of rich flavorful ice cream and have been hooked on chocolate for a minute but today I have a new love and must get with Nima to see where I can get more and try all the other flavors. I think I'm hooked. Thank you my friend!! I really felt compelled to do my first review ever...heart felt...just saying...

Leleh Saffron Pistachio is the best ice cream on earth!! Very creamy, not too sweet, hints of rose and cardamom. Unfortunately I'm legitimately addicted now and have been to the market 3 times in the past week to get this! I would like to know where else I can find this, it's a bit expensive where I buy it. I'm not saying it's not worth it.

I FINALLY FOUND IT. Literally five years since having saffron Gelato at Allegro in Tucson, and three years after finding out this place makes saffron ice cream only to learn their location on Valley View is an empty office, I happened to drive by a Super King on a shopping trip with a friend from school. After shopping, I raced* back to the Super King, remembering that the place sells Laleh ice cream, praying that they have my flavor in stock. I'm in luck. They do. It's pricey, as artisan ice cream tends to be, but cheaper than Allegro ever was. When I get home, it's every bit as wonderful a I remember it being. It's different in texture and a little more floral and it has little cream chips in it, but that unmistakable inimitable saffron flavor is there. It's glorious. Thank you, Laleh, for making it so I don't have to go on a road trip for a single scoop of gelato. *No speed limits were broken in the making of this review.

Creamy, irresistible and so many interesting and delicious flavors. Please open a storefront ice cream shop. Please!!

This isnt an ice cream shop. I've been curious to find out about it and I finally drove by to check it out and it's a plaza with offices. Don't come here if you're looking to fulfill an ice cream craving because you wont find it here.

They carry this ice cream at the North County International Market in Vista, CA. It's really good. Tried the pistachio saffron. will try others from this place.

Exotic, refreshing and Persian delight rolled into one luscious Laleh Ice Cream. A special friend introduced me to this wonderful creation of his once-upon-a-time and once I tasted it, I was hooked. I really love the Pistachio flavored one vs. the Pomegranate Chip. It's just more refreshing and love the smooth rose water after taste than the tangy pomegranate. Unfortunately, this business address is where they manufacture the product and not a storefront ice cream establishment. The only places I've seen them sold is at the Super King Markets in Irvine and Montclair, CA. I really wish my friend would open up a storefront/dessert chain to market his product even more, but I trust him and he knows what he's doing. Persian persuasion...to be continued.......

It's unfortunate that the US and Iran are enemies. As a result, the US has imposed sanctions on Iran. We can never experience authentic Persian/Iranian food imported straight from its original country, Iran, until the USA and Iran can become friends again Luckily, there's a large Iranian/Persian diaspora all over the world so as a result, we can still experience the greatness that is Persian cuisine; you better pray that the city you live in has a Persian restaurant or market. If it doesn't, then move. Anyways, I must thank Laleh for giving us Americans the opportunity to experience how divine Persian ice cream is. Every time I'm at my local Persian market here in San Diego, I always buy an ice cream from Laleh. It's THAT good

No a shop, just a office building.

I actually tried this ice cream at irvine global festival instead of their actual show.. but from what i tried, their ice cream is very good and authentic.. its has a some good aromatic smells and taste.. i got their saffron pistachio and Madagascar vanilla bean flavor for about $3 ( it was so yummy and rich in flavors.. i wish they have persian/iranian ice cream in OC.. but most of them resides in LA which is far from me.. and if i take it home, its gonna melt by the time i get home.. so im assuming that the actual store ice cream is the same as the one i had at the festival.. if that is the case, then their ice cream is a bomb.. must try it if u r in the area..
