Ono Hawaiian BBQ

I had the BBQ Katsu mix. it had a breaded chicken cutlet, 2 big pieces of grilled chicken and smaller slices (quarter size) of grilled beef. The vegetables are cabbage and a few broccoli florets. It normally comes with 2 scoops of macaroni salad and one scoop of white rice. I had all macaroni salad and it was incredibly delicious for something so simple. In fact, everything was great, with so much food, I split it between two meals. You can (and should) get Katsu and teriyaki sauce on the side. I definitely will go back. Amazingly, the prices in store are cheaper than online!

Was good till I started to eat and get a mouthful of nasty ass black long hair what a waste.80 bucks on food can't even get a decent rib

My wife and I had lunch there. We had Spam masubi. She had lemon pepper chicken and vegetables. I had the Lava shrimp plate.
The food is always ONO.

Health Department notified - 01/01/2025, 04:35 p.m.

I came into this establishment to place an order. The cashier was busy taking an order over the phone. While I waited, I could hear and see an employee, a heavy set lady in a grey t-shirt in the back of the kitchen, coughing non-stop into her bare hands for about 2 minutes. The cashier finally started taking my order then as I was about to pay I saw the disgusting heavy set lady walk out from the back and into the serving area of the kitchen and without washing her hands she began to serve the to go boxes with food. I was jaw dropped and absolutely disgusted. This is how people get sick; from others who are careless and lack proper hygiene that work in the food industry. I informed the cashier of what I just saw and canceled my order and walked out. I will never return to this location unless ownership starts taking patrons' health more seriously. I will also notify the health department as well.

Worst experience ever!!!
Cashier was not friendly at all. Food was cold and were taking for ever to expedite food more than 25mins customers were waiting for their orders longer than myself. How is that possible with 3-4 employee in the kitchen. Literally $44 down the drain never again I will come to this place. The only reason that I made a stop here was because my vehicle was getting service at Walmart.

The food was over cooked and burnt, but the young lady yvette was able to rectify the situation.. she spoke to her manager and decided to give me a new plate of food. So the service was 10/10… the Atmosphere of the place was welcoming and respectful, the cashiers kept it respectful and had a smile on their face… would definitely recommend..

This is not a review on the service, because both the cashiers were very nice. But I took a picture. If these are going to cost me 5.99 they can at least fill the rangoons.
