Teriyaki Express

Got the teriyaki and pork plate, ended up with food poisoning. First sign should have been how unclean the place looked, but decided to take a chance when we saw the 4 stars. Won’t be back again. Upside is the lady was nice.

Stopped for a quick lunch: Plain rice/ Miso soup. Cost: $11.75

I wasn’t prepared to have the food heated in a microwave. It took forever. Miso soup wasn’t hot enough. Rice was cold, but at least it wasn’t dry. The general hygiene in the restaurant questionable. Felt pretty run down inside, but a lot of people like that aesthetic. Had to give 3 stars for the sweet lady helping me. She even put my containers in a box so it wouldn’t spill. Being considerate goes a long way.

I was craving teriyaki food and searched places near my job. This place was the closest to my job. I came here because of the distance and also because I saw that it had 4.5 stars. However, I went today, place was empty… made me wonder why. Also place seems kind of outdated. I ordered a chicken and beef combo plate to share with my husband. From the entire plate, the only thing we can say was good was the salad with the dressing and the rice. The beef tasted like it was old, meat was hard and so was the chicken. I would not come back to eat at this place nor would I recommend it. Waste of time and money.

Small joint but love their authentic food here! I've become a regular & enjoy various dishes here. My favorte isthe ckn Ramyen soup combo eith 4 Calif rolls?

We have been here on our way back to Canada and loved the size of the rolls and the taste.It's a small business but great and delicious sushi.

Had crunch roll! Tasted great just fell apart very easy! So pretty messy for someone who is not really good with chopsticks lol

It's a bit expensive and not good enough that price.

I ordered through Uber Eats for the first time. This was so delicious. From the quality to the quantity. You will truly not be disappointed. Well done ?

Salmon was mushy and tempura was gross and doughy. Ordered the bento bowl on a whim. Won't order that again. ???

Love the chicken plate and the dressing for their salads. Service is very polite and quick. One of my favorite go to spots.
