Service was horrible from the start. I went in between 12-1pm on Tuesday afternoon 8/27/2024. The lady that helped us was in her 20’s with brow hair and highlights on the tips of her hair and she has a few gold earrings on each side of ears and the guy that helped us was about 40 with glasses and a mohawk. They were both extremely rude and the establishment was disgusting!!! When the guy came out to help his coworker he did NOT wash his hand before putting gloves on and there were flys everywhere!!!!!! To top it off when I asked them to please take off the first layer of paper that he was going to wrap my sandwich on he just told me “sorry I can’t control the flys.” Even after taking my order and cashing me out I saw him proceed to make another sandwich, and NOT wash his hands before applying new gloves.

Worst subway VERY STINGY on puting anything on my footlong it looked like there was hardly anything inside of it. I would recommend going to either los Banos or gustine subway. STAY AWAY from the Santa nella location because these people will rip you off.

A bit lean on the ingredients is an understatement. Even when asked for more lettuce for a salad, the server sprinkled only a few more shreds. Then the veggie sandwich was pretty much a bread sandwich decorated with some greens. Most items were quite fresh except the frozen/wilted spinach. I get cost savings, but the two items together had maybe $2 in vegetables and a very conservative scoop of tuna...for around $20!! It's a convenient stop, but if the same minimalist approach happens next visit, sorry-we're going elsewhere.
