Our tasting experience was incredible at Crown Point Vineyards! We've been to just about every winery in the area and this is by far one of the most beautiful we have seen. Ken was our tasting guide and gave us a tour of the vineyards explaining where the fruit for the wines came from and was very knowledgeable. The whole experience was about 90 minutes and was way more than just trying a few wines. After touring the vineyards on an ATV with our Sauvignon Blanc we saw where the wine was aged in the beautiful barrel room. We also met the winemaker Simon! When we tasted the different Cabernet Sauvignon that comes from the vineyards in Happy Canyon we were blown away. They are definitely the best Cabs we have tasted in the area and rival the best Napa Cabs! This is definitely a must see if you are looking for an elevated, top of the line wine tasting experience. Lovely private wine tasting experience. Small batch Bordeaux type wines. Very small selection but my, what a selection! Everyone was made to feel welcome - from the drinkers to the non-drinkers. Did I mention the estate dogs? They were part of the welcome party. Note: Reservations needed.

This is a winery that absolutely should be on your list to tour! The grounds are picturesque and the wine is incredible! Book at the end of your day because other wineries will have a tough time competing with this exceptional experience!

Yummiest! Crown Point wines are excellent! Our guide, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable. She showed us around the vineyard and answered questions we didn't know we had. Reservations are essential. Pricey tasting but once you complete the experience, you appreciate the value. Got way more wine then we initially intended but I think we can jump that grenade. Look forward to returning.

Crown Point Vineyards provides the most complete, breathtaking tour and tasting experience as they produce world class Cabernet Sauvignon (and a blend with Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot) in Santa Barbara Wine Country. We were driven in their "Gator" (a 4-wheeler) to the top of the vineyard with a vantage point of the entire Santa Ynez Valley. We returned to their winery for a tour where we bumped into the charming (and handsome) winemaker who was so generous with his time. Finally, we sat down for a seated, private tasting featuring three wines paired with cheese. The wines are as good as any luxury Napa Cabernet based wine. Stunning. They tend to sell out, I recommend booking in advance.

A tour with the very lovely assistant winemaker, Sharde, and her dog Diego, is information-filled and helps understand the vision of the owner.
