A beautiful little spot in Santa Ynez. The food offerings are wonderful from the chef owner. A very nice wine list to compliment. Great service and ambience.. stop here for lunch or dinner.. you will love it!

The food was very good. The restaurant was almost empty, only 3 tables with diners. Our server was nowhere to be found for most of our meal.

There were only 3 tables with customers. When our server was present, he was friendly and helpful. The problem was he vanished for very long periods of time. The food was very good and well prepared.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful experience today at Ellie's Tap and Vine! The food was creative and delicious. The ambiance was lovely although a little dark for daytime. The lunch menu was vast with several additional specials. The fresh lobster roll and crab bisque were both outstanding! I certainly will return soon.🦞🦀

Went there with my friend and her daughter to try out the new small plate menu and the $10 wine by the glass. We loved being able to order different items and share. The Chopped Salad, Three Little Pigs and the Burrata and Bruschetta were all amazing. Sitting outside on the patio on a warm evening and running into other friends made for a perfect experience!

We had such a wonderful experience at Ellie’s. The food was amazing, really unique flavors, and the atmosphere and views added to the experience. The service was extremely good, very friendly and knowledgeable. We are excited to come back next time we are in the area.

The food was terrible. We were hungry and ready to eat some food and our first tapas plates came out and were so bad we canceled the rest of our order, left our wine, and checked out early. I do not recommend Adding an edit to respond to owner. This is not about tapas - tapas as a meal idea are great. Love tapas... what you are serving is not tapas. Patatas bravas, croquetas, chopitos - all tapas. The menu we received (which is not what is posted here) did not contain anything like that. And I would not have at all minded an all-cold tapas presentation, had something like the "3 little pigs" dish for a whopping $22 had been more than a few strips of salami, a piece of prosciutto, a slice of something resembling spam, and 2 slices of sandwich pickle - or priced at a point that more fairly resembled the dish. The food presented was one thing, the price for it was completely something else. I have no problem spending money on good food, it is a luxury that I take full advantage of, but this was mediocre food taking advantage of me. Rest assured, I am not in an emotional spin. I simply wish to advise other patrons of the true quality of the food and service. You have done the rest.

The lobster roll is the best I've ever had! Try it! Food is always so delicious and there is a great wine list too.
Love this restaurant! I have never been disappointed with a meal. We had lunch here and the ahi was great as well as the shrimp cocktail. Also a plus it is dog friendly. Thank you Joy!

We went with a large group, and they easily accommodated us. They have a great prefix dinner selection at Great Price. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Pork chops were amazing. Salads delicious. Roasted chicken was very good. Definitely recommended.

This place is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is very underground jazz vibe. Especially with the music they play. Absolutely amazing. And the food, just WOW! We went to celebrate our promotions and they did not disappoint. Joy, the owner, is very sweet and welcoming and an outstanding chef. This place is a must visit!!

Outstanding all around! From the food to the service to the ambiance everything was wonderful! I had the beef tenderloin which melted in my mouth! My daughter had the roasted half chicken which was moist and juicy! We both started with the tomato soup which was hands down the best we’ve ever had! Our deserts were equally as scrumptious! We went on a Wednesday and our glasses of wine were only $10 - nice! I would definitely return next time I’m in the Santa Ynez valley! I highly recommend Ellie’s Tap and Vine! Cheers!
