We were looking for a place for lunch and saw this place we had never tried. We had the smash burger and fries. It was SO good! All the food I saw there looked just beautiful. The waitress was charming and the atmosphere was very nice. We sat outside on the patio because it was a sunshiney day. The inside looked really pretty too. I will definitely go back!

Officially the best food and ambiance in the valley right now! The cauliflower and the crab cake are can’t-miss appetizers. Brunch and espresso drinks are fabulous. Any of Albi’s spins on a classic cocktail are going to deliver at the highest level. Cheers!

Food is very good, nice daily specials. good drinks dining inside was very noisy, owner was very attentive and moved up out front to patio which was very pleasant. will be back. highly recommend
Small but fantastic menu with interesting specials. Amazing international wine list and very solid cocktail offerings. Food was top notch and overall the atmosphere is intimate and well designed aesthetically but still comfortable and welcoming.

We have eaten here several times and it is always excellent in all aspects - food, service, ambiance, etc.
Went here for a birthday dinner for my wife. We ended up bringing our small dog and they were very accommodating to let us switch to a patio table. There were heaters and the ambience was nice with some background music on. The drinks and food were very good. Our hostess and the server were very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Every winery we stopped at recommended Pony of you wanted a great smash burger. They did not disappoint! The burger was cooked to perfection with the crispy edges you expect from a great smash burger. Their sauce was really good and the fries were crispy. Great patio dining lets you enjoy the weather and people watch while you dine. Highly recommend.

Great interior with a central bar. We dined on a cold rainy day on the covered front Patio w our dog and enjoyed amazing cocktails and food! Great shrimp tacos and a phenomenal BLT! Happy to have a great new spot in The Valley👌🥂

Loved spending New Year's Eve here! Not a locals spot... yet but I can't wait for it to become that.
It was our first time trying brunch at Pony and we all three enjoyed it very much because the food was satisfying and tasty, the remodel of this space is comfortable and bright, and the service was stellar!
Sunday after Thanksgiving is always a somewhat dicey proposition. Tired chefs often leave the kitchen in charge of a sub, bloated customers are eating leftover turkey sandwiches for the third day, not many in the mood to go out. So what a delightful surprise at Pony Kitchen on such a slow quiet night. Every dish was prepared with thought and care, all beautifully balanced. As locals we have had many meals at nearby SY Kitchen and Brother's Red Barn. Our meal at Pony Kitchen well exceeded the quality of anything at SY Kitchen. As for Red Barn, Matt always delivers with flawless execution, but the food in this small spot was its equal. More sophisticated than Red Barn's, far better than SYK, and soon to be my go-to in Santa Ynez. Service by Rodrigo was warm and attentive, atmosphere is simple and intimate. Only two minor recommendations: set the AC for the customer's comfort not the staff's since we are not running around. Last, consider a simple less expensive bread service (Bob's does not warrant that price) --- a house-made warm baguette would knock it out of the park. Yet these two small items in no way diminish the love and joy this food is infused with. Il cibo e quasi meglio di quello di mia mamma...ma solo quasi....
Though the menu is short on entrees, the food was very good. They did not have the items shared on Open Table reviews . They need more staff as service was slower when restaurant was near capacity. Well worth it!
We stoped here for brunch, made reservations because we are just those type of people, when we arrived we could’ve sat inside or out, we chose to sit outside which was nice and heated with cozy warmers. We chose Bloody Marys which were delicious, 🤤 along with the lemon ricotta pancakes and the breakfast burrito! We enjoyed it so much we took our food photos as an after thought !!! Enjoy ! Our host who sat us had such a big personality we didn’t catch his name but everyone seemed to enjoy his presence as much as we did 🙌🏽 Great place we will be coming back ✔️
