This place has a warm and cozy vibe.

The price was a bit high for what you get and if it wasn't for town being such a small place I probably wouldn't come back due to the venue

Food was amazing. We liked the sea bass, very flavorful throughout. The French onion soup was the best we’ve had everywhere. The raspberry soufflé was very refreshing as well. We were very impressed that when we told the server everything was for share, they served the entrees in separate plates. Top notch service.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving meal at the Victor. The staff was very nice, personable and attentive. Food was very good, and they had a decent selection of wine, beer, and mixed drinks. The patio seating is dog friendly, and they have propane tower heaters out amongst the patio seating area. Very nice atmosphere. The bathroom was clean and had candles burning which provided a laid back atmosphere. All in all, I would definitely recommend The Victor for anyone looking for an upscale restaurant experience.

Chill, modern atmosphere on their outdoor patio - very relaxing. Service was also very attentive. The BLT&E (eggs) was good although the eggs were a bit undercooked. The cobb salad was also very tasty and had lots of avocado, which wasn't even listed on the ingredients. Unfortunately, as is common with a lot of reheated chicken breast, the chicken was overcooked and tough. Still a good overall experience and we'll go there again. But the food frequently seems to be hit or miss.

One of the more bizarre places I've been to. Went about a month ago, but I still think about it. Cocktails were not good. I think one was called a passion fruit margarita but there was no PF flavor, just orange. The olive bread was the same way, microscopic amounts of olive, but the worst part was that it was charred beyond recognition and completely inedible, oh and it cost like 10 bucks for 5 tiny pieces.

Service was really strange too. Granted it was busy, but we just wanted to sit out front and have some drinks. They said they don't serve that area and we'd have to order at the bar. Fine. Except bar seating was full and the left side of the bar was 3 people deep, so we were just standing there like idiots blocking the door to outside, like completely in the way of servers. Finally one of the servers takes our order and we sit in front. They bring the drinks, the food, check on us, everything. Except when it came time for the check they were nowhere to be found. Like they were doing us a favor, but now we had to go in to the bar to pay, just so strange.

The lady and I certainly didn't come here with the intention of talking about how bad the drinks, food, and procedures are at this establishment, but that's all we talked about the whole time we were there. I hate confrontation, so instead we'll just never be back, and more than likely will think twice about eating out anywhere. I think The Victor thinks they're in Napa, but no, you're not.

This is the second time I have been there, if you are of mixed race, u should not go!! They refused to sit us for happy hour at a table!! Just kept telling us we can’t sit at a table!! The small happy hour section was full, all the other tables outside were open!! But they still refused
Tried again today, but all the “white” people were served first!! Just made us feel so uncomfortable. Will not be going back there…

Had been wanting to go here since the Burger Week reviewer at the Weekly named the Viktor Burger the best of the burger week bunch, but it took a while. He was right - probably the best burger I have ever had. Amazing texture and flavor. Melts in your mouth. Turns out it is a mix of tri-tip, filet mignon and wagyu, and what a mix it is. The fries that come with it are also delectable. The rest of the menu looks very good as well, and we did try the gazpacho, which had a deeply satisfying mix of stronger and also subtle flavors. The setting is beautiful, the outside deck surrounded by trees and green in a way you wouldn't expect in the area, and the inside is understated elegance.

Love the Santa Maria tri-tip and the baked oysters. Food is always good and consistent.

Kaleigh is the best bartender in town ! She makes each experience at The Victor one to remember. A big reason why we keep coming back.

Wow. This place was so good. Definitely a goto when you visit solvang. The ceviche was on my top 3 list and the mains for me and my wife tasted amazing. An not to forget the dessert. A meal I'll remember from start to finish. The staff was super friendly. Well be back on our next trip up there.
