Grappolo in Santa Ynez is a true gem. The food is amazing — bar none, the best ravioli we have ever had. The special pumpkin ravioli was out of this world — we can’t stop talking about it and will probably be dreaming about this dish for the next week. You have to try it! We also had the lemon caper sole, which was equally delicious and perfectly prepared. As self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations were high, but Grapolo far exceeded every one of them. Our server Eric made the evening even more memorable with his warm and attentive service. The quaint ambiance transported us straight to Tuscany — it felt like dining at a family-run hillside restaurant, authentic and second to none. We will absolutely be back — no matter what. Grapolo is a must-visit in Santa Ynez!

5 people, I had chicken fusilli...chicken tasted reheated. No body loved the food. The balsamic tasted old or off also. Underwhelming. People very nice, and service was fast.

The service was really great, the waiter was very kind and how ever the food was a little underwhelming, the complimentary bread was dry and a little hard we got a dish that had oysters and they tasted like cow dung. But it was a good experience, I would recommend the pizza I got it was freshly cooked and had a great flavor. Not only that but the dessert was some of the best i had in a long time. Personally I would recommend the flour less chocolate cake it melts in your mouth and leaves and lovely after taste.

The food was some of the best Italian food and dessert I’ve had and the service was great I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, it is definitely worth it to stop by for dinner!
One of the best Italian places in SoCal.
Food is amazing, currently open 5:30-9.
While I think they offer great value for Italian food in the area. I am not too impressed by their pasta dishes. On our dinner we ordered 2 pizzas as appetizers, and they were great with perfect crust and just the right amount of toppings. On the other hand the 3 pasta dishes, ravioli, lasagna, and gnocchi all house made are just ok. Their take on ravioli looked more like an over size and over stuffed Chinese dumpling filler with 99% Spanish cover by a very thin pasta sheet. Their lasagna is a short stack of pasta that's falling apart and the kitchen was trying to hide that with a plate full of creamy tomato sauce, The flavor was good but not a well made lasagna I was to expect from an Italian restaurant. And lastly their gnocchi have a nice chewy texture, but the quick cook did not allow flavor from sausage penetrate into them and they were just bathing in a large amount of sausage fat and oil. So go there for their pizza and you won't be disappointed

Come here every year when I’m in town and it’s always great!
This gem of an Italian restaurant was one of the highlights of our Santa Ynez getaway. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of our hotel, we made an early reservation for a Friday night. The setting is casual and comfortable. The food and the service were both excellent. I had the linguine con vongole, which was perfectly prepared and seasoned, redolent with Manila clams, tiny and tender. My wife had the filet of sole, sautéed with lemon, white wine and capers, accompanied by steamed carrots, roasted potatoes and spinach. Light, healthy and delicious. So good that we came back for pizza the next night. Again, we were not disappointed. And, as mentioned earlier, the service was terrific. Attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Highly recommended!
Go and enjoy everything.

Great food. Great service. Relaxed and intimate atmosphere. We celebrated a wedding anniversary and enjoyed the meal very much.
