Angry Petes Pizza Santee Lakes

I had a pretty good ham and eggs breakfast burrito for $9 from Angry Petes Pizza located at Santee Lakes.

I liked that they toasted the burrito on the hot griddle after it was rolled for that good crunchy effect. The burrito came with a good amount of scrambled eggs and ham. The potatoes were decent and a little on the dry side. Also, the cheddar cheese that came in the burrito was well melted. It was not the largest breakfast burrito I have ever had, but it was tasty. The burrito came with a side of salsa, and it was okay.

The service was friendly enough. They offer outside seating on the deck next to the building overlooking one of the lakes.

Beautiful area by Santee Lake, the menu options are limited however and unless you are a pizza lover you should find something. We walked all around the lakes and looked just for a coffee and croissant or muffin, nothing like that after 12 but the lady was kind enough to make us a decaf coffee.

Great food kind of poor customer service. There was a guy ringing a bell when I got there and the employees were hanging out in a back room which I get it was hot. But I went there a few months back and the employees were nowhere to be found after ringing their bell for a couple of times and waiting 10-15 minutes I walked around the building and saw people with food. So I went to the counter and some was there all of a sudden.

We tried 4 different slices, had a beer, and a faygo slush. The chicken barbecue habanero and the veggie were our two favorites. Those cheesy crispy corners of the deep dish were cooked to perfection. On top of the great pizza and beer the balcony seating overlooking the lake and wildlife was very peaceful and unique. We'll definitely be back with kids. My wife and I had a good laugh at your responses to some of these ridiculous bad reviews ?.

Nice outdoor restaurant at Santee lakes. Lady taking orders was super friendly and nice and explained the menu well. GREAT outdoor seating with nice shade and fans to keep you cool.

Hawaiian pizza was yummy, decent flavors just wish it was bigger for $24 I feel like I could have eaten the whole pizza myself (instead of splitting with my husband) and I’m only 120 lbs. so good food just expensive for the size.

Why doesn't this park stay open later?

Should be called Hangry Pete's, bc if you're hungry and angry this place is a good place to go, it's peaceful and you there's good foooood!

Came with with a friend. Pizza was inconsistent. I ordered 4 slices and he ordered 1 pizza. 2 of the slices were good, 1 was very very thick. Like 3 inches of bread. It was too doughy.My friends pizza on the other hand was very thin in the middle, soggy, and fell apart. His crust was also not crispy at all and the color was pale in comparison to my slices.Pretty disappointed especially given the high price point. At $28 for 4 small slices I could have gotten a very nice full sized pizza from anywhere in San Diego. The sitting area is very nice though.

Tiny portions, BIG prices and food is wayyyy salty too. For example: Small Slurpee-$6. Too many other choices elsewhere. I get it tho people camp and fish here so where else can u go.

This is the only restaurant inside Santee Lake, the atmosphere is unique, there are plenty of tables on the deck facing sunset, it is a very good place for those who has plenty of time enjoying the Nature.
