Bad Hombres Good Mexican Food

I ordered a California Burrito, and just got a burrito with fries and meat. no sour cream or guacamole (not even pico de gallo) when it’s clearly in the description. When I called to try and fix the problem they just hung up on me. When I picked up my food I asked for extra salsa and they said no. only 2 sauces for burritos. that’s not nearly enough.

Terrible customer service, terrible food.

I think the building is an old Taco Bell. This place has the very best rolled tacos. I have eaten rolled tacos from all over SD and this is way ahead of everyone else. The staff enjoys them self. Atmosphere is light. Not to serious. I like that.

The dude in the front needs to find another job. His attitude was horrible and he looked absolutely miserable. Food was great but every other staff member was great he was not.

Always order surf n turf burrito with extra shrimp, only got extra shrimp one time when the sticker was on it. The rest of the time no extra shrimp. Love the food but I wish I could get what I order!!!!!

One of the worst california burrito I've ever had super dry meat old hard fries very small amount of sour cream and I noticed they bullying one of the employees kinda chubby girl that's not nice salsas no flavor like water no no coming back

Used to love this place but it's gone down. The last few times they have either forgot part of my order or messed it up. They also used to give bigger portions. Won't be back.

I have been going to this place since it opened in 2020. The food in my experience has always been good and never disappoints. Portions are always large and the food is flavorful, even on their "off" days I still feel like I didn't waste my money. Except their red taco, that thing sucks every time. The price is definitely a little steep, but considering the portion size I think it's worth it. The service is not amazing but it isn't bad. It's good. That's it, just good. No general complaints there. Overall, a great establishment! Although, the only reason it got 4 stars is because of one complaint. EVERY TIME, without fail, it smells so bad inside the restaurant. Like on good days, it smells like a public restroom that you eventually become nose blind to after sitting in there for long enough, and on bad days the place smells like literal shit. I always thought I was the weird one but I have gone with friends where they will also make the comment that it smells horrendous in there. I've never used the restroom here so I can't say whether or not the smell is coming from the restroom or maybe it is the plumbing. I went today and wow... it smelled so bad like it does genuinely deter me away from the place altogether. I could go in the drive thru yeah, but most of the time it's wrapped around the building. So, everything is good! Food is good, service is good, portion is good, lots of seating. But yeah that smell is what's keeping this place from reaching like a good recommendation. I'm sure they know, I brought it up one time a few years ago and they said they are aware and have gotten complaints but all these years later and it's gotten worse. It's very odd. I'll keep eating here but I don't think I'll wait inside the restaurant again for longer than 5 minutes, my nose hairs will burn off.

The food here is great, but the drive thru wait is long if you come during a mealtime and the experience there could be improved. The workers are polite, but sometimes seem rushed / stressed.

The food here is great! There is no lack of flavor and the customer service is equally as awesome! I ordered the surf and turf fries. It was a hefty portion that had plenty of carne asada and grilled shrimp. The restaurant was clean and organized and the lady at the counter was very helpful. I will come back to try some other dishes!

Bomb food! Have tried a large portion of the menu and I have yet to be dissatisfied. I love the breakfast burrito and the roll tacos are really good.

Got my self a California burrito next morning came in to get a bacon breakfast burrito could only take a couple bites I wasn’t feeling right, about an hour later I couldn’t stop throwing up threw up and it continued for about 3 days threw up at least 30 times worst food poisoning I’ve ever had.

Staff tested. Passed.
I was able to speak with the employees who took my order and request that they go back and make my food for me. BETO stepped it up immediately and went back and made my order with the cooks.
Despite dropping all of my consome once I got home, the food was the same great food they always make without the price gouges.
Highly recommend... Will review again after my next request is handled.

Good quality quick Mexican food always reliable. My wife loves the rolled tacos they use shredded beef I usually get carne asada fries or a super cali burrito.
